Mark Whipple Could Be Doneski at UM

He leaves and then i support the fire Randy Shannon bandwagon. Randy Shannon call the game...?!

no ****ing way

He's headed to South Florida apparently, and taking Pannunzio, Stoutland and possibly Hill with him.

It makes sense from USF's perspective though, even though they've interviewed guys like Skip Holtz and even have talked to Mike Leach.

He can steal some UM recruits to USF.

Mark Whipple is in Scottsdale. Things could be just a rumor. Mark Whipple has NOT accepted the job. Not even sure if he has even been offered. From what I'm told he is high on the list but Skip Holtz and Tommy Bowden are also high on the list. Nothing is solid. Things are very cloudy right now. Word has it Skip Holtz is close to a deal and word has it that Tommy Bowden is in Tampa right now.

If Mark Whipple does take the job he's taking Stoutland and Punnunzio with him and possibly Aubrey Hill.

I have no effing idea. But if he leaves, this is what we're dealing with people:

Three different Offensive Coordinators
Three Different Defensive Coordinators
Three QB's bolted.

Coincidence? I think not. It's obvious. It's what I've been trying to tell you guys. No one wants to work with Shannon. How can you lose this many coordinators, this many assistants, and this many players in a three-year period. It doesn't make sense.

Anyone who really thought Whipple would stay in place longer than what the market deemed necessary to recharge his NCAA credentials was deluding themselves. And anyone who doesn't now think that Whipple would welcome the opportunity to get away from a situation where more justifiably so, his boss should really be reporting to him, is stuck in the middle of a forest where only the surrounding trees are visible. Color him "gone" sooner than L8R

If this happens, then I am officially convinced JCane. It's not so disturbing that Whipple would leave, because I think best case scenario he was only here one more year. I find it very telling that he would be able to take a bunch of "Randy's guys" with him. That's enough for me to understand that he is just a miserable person to work for and a possible sign that many of his coaches think this is a sinking ship. You can't be miserable and lose, but miserable and win....well that is Nick Saban in a nutshell.

LOL @ Gary Ferman whiffing on a Mark Whipple story TWICE. Didn't I say that guys on the inside were feeding that tool bogus information intentionally. And this stuff will Whipple isn't over guys. He's looking for a way out. That is clear. No one wants to work with Randy Shannon because of how he is.

Baucom, you didn't need this to convince you. You're already convinced but you simply don't want to be. Shannon is the common denominator in all of this mess. You see it too. I've always said, there's nothing people hate to hear more than the truth.
