Cowboys just signed NT Jay Ratliff for 5 years/$40 million with $18 million or so guaranteed per espndallas.com and Pft.com

Looks about right.............hope we can get him for that.

Um, let's see him produce again before we say his market is set. Don't want to make the same mistake with him as we did with Carey.

Totally agree. If he can produce at an even higher level than he did last year then there's no doubt in my mind he will get an even better deal next season. He's come a long way since his rookie season and I'm glad he did. Big hog that guy is man.

Is he worth resigning at this time? He has really only had one good year?

what does solia eat?
you are what you eay :p

id say yeah lets see what he can do this year 1st
that goes for langferd too..

We need to lock Langford up imo,he's been a starter since day 1,and has been solid/borderline stud for us.

That doesn't set his market...he isn't near Jay Ratliff level...give me a break...

I think he needs to prove that it wasn't a one year wonder. If Paul plays the way he did last season this year, then pay the man.

In a contract year at that. Not to mention the only season he hasnt has problems keeping his weight where it should be. I'd be nervous giving this guy a long term deal.

I agree, See what he gives us during the year...If he plays well give him a long term deal..Hell we dont even know if this regime is going to be here anyway..may not even need a NT like Paul.

Well if the market is set for Soliai @ $40m for 5 years with $18m guaranteed, than IMO you need to multiple that by 3x's when you include Langford and Wake!!! not to mention Henne, IF they choose to resign him after this season ... now your looking at $54m in guaranteed money for 3 players on the defensive side of the ball in 1 year alone .. than you have to think about Long in 2013; with Davis and Smith the follow a year after that ... can this team afford all that ... whatta you guys think?
