Ireland just signed him because he was coming off being hurt and so what he could ask was low and Grimes wasn't being highly sought because of that. This year, Grimes will get whatever he asks...so, Ireland better be ready to pony-up!
 
Sean Smith got 6M I'm not opposed to giving(Grimes) him 6.5 or 7 if thats whats required

IF you compare Ireland to the other 31 GM's in the NFL, you will find that he is average, nothing better, nothing worse. True story.

Our record indicates we are below average. Name 1 star/impact player that he has ever drafted? I am pretty sick of below average. I am sick of his anemic drafts and sick of his constantly creating glaring holes in the roster.

Yes it does. However, do you compare to all other teams in the NFL on record, drafts, FA signings, or just complain for the sake of complaining?

I will bet you that you do not have a clue on what other teams have done to compare. True or False?

What winning teams have a worse roster than ours? You just admitted that our record is below average, which matches our talent. Whos fault is that?

I don't want to measure up to all the other teams, I want to measure up to the best teams and there is no way we are going to do it with this level of talent. You go through our roster, position by position and we are NOT that talented. Who is the face of our franchise after six years? We don't have one. In fact you could make the argument that we were MORE talented 2 years ago than we are now if Tannehill doesn't pan out.

Now, very calmly with meds or beer if you need, this Dolphins team did beat 4 of the 8 teams in the AFC playoffs, don't think there was any other team to do so. How the hell did this team with no talent do that? Hmmmm, something to at least consider. :)
