Grimes is way better than Jennings and he's coming off one of his best seasons. I think that he's the best FA that Ireland has brought into the joint (yes, even better than Mark Colombo, Ernest Wilford and Legadu Naanee). He made a big difference and was a terrific presence in the locker room and also helped Carroll and Wilson improve. This time Jeff you need to pay up.

WAY, WAY better. He had close to a Revis type year. IF we can't come to a deal, we paid him $4-5M, and can cut Patterson's $4-5M to cover the franchise tag.

NO comparison in any way. That's like Patterson money. Grimes will likely be franchised and make around the same guarantee next year, In FA, Grimes is likely worth almost double.

When you're as good as Grimes, you do. Playoff teams who believe they are a great CB away will pay him a lot. Guarantee it. He is that good, and no where near a Jennings.

Agreed, not in his prime but, last year almost as good, when Revis was still #1.

Nnamdi got 12mil/yr & 25mil guaranteed with Philly when he was 30.

Easily, you just did not throw his way, kinda like Neon Deon but, Revis could also tackle. I have not seen better.
