Good move by FL, IMO. I think Joey is a smart baseball man. A young manager with a young team can only help I think. The players and him can relate to each other compared to a Jack McKeon, Jim Leyland or Lou Pinella type. Interesting that he took the position because as of last night there was talk that he was going to wait another year to try and get the Cubs manager job since he's from the Chicago area. Anyway good luck Joe and the Marlins in 2006, hopefully it will be the year that the Braves are finally overtaken in the East so it's not an automatic NLCS trip to whoever plays the Braves in the Division Series.
