By my count, Brandon Marshall has had four potential touchdown passes in his hands this season.Three of them, he has dropped. The latest came Sunday just before halftime, when an 8-yard bullet from Chad Henne went through Marshall’s hands in the end zone. Marshall had beaten Joe Haden on an inside move, and Haden recovered nicely to bother the pass. But from the replays, it appeared Marshall should have made the catch. Asked about it after the game, he said he’d need to watch the film.Huh? Either the ball was in your hands or it wasn’t. No film study needed.Marshall came off the field two plays later, after Henne overthrew Davone Bess in the opposite corner, and made a beeline for backup quarterback Matt Moore. Not the best chain of events for a star receiver who would finish the day with just four catches for 43 yards and a long of 15.“We’ve just got to look at ourselves right now as individuals first,” Marshall said. “That’s how you fix the problem. Everybody has to look themselves in the eye and see how they contributed to it. Then we can fix the problem as a team. I need to do a good job in the film room this week of self-assessing and go from there.”

AND WE STILL PUT THE BLAME ON HENNE ? NOWAY NOT ME Henne is doing his job if the rest would step up than we wouldnt be in the shape we are in right now .

henne is looking to marshall too much IMO though. he still is spreading it around but marshall gets the ball in crunch time and marshall flunking in that regard.

need to see gates more. that dude needs to step up and make a big play for defenses to lay off some steam on marshall.

Ok, how many passes has Henne missed in the red zone? A few to Brandon Marshall that were off target, didn't even look like they were on the same page.

Not sure whose fault that is, but there's enough blame to go around.

The one in the Texas game was just terrible! The Browns game would have been a great catch that pass needed to be in his chest to belly area causing Haden to play through Marshalls body and a PI. The Patriots game was another tough catch. All said he needs to catch at least 1 of the tough ones and definitely the Texas drop!

so let me get this right he's 1-4 on passes that could have been TD's? from what i remember these passes werent exactly easy balls to catch. I'd understand if the 3 dropped balls hit him in the numbers but i dont think they were. IMO thomas and the progression that Henne and marshall have are the few bright spots.

Last year when i had the audacity to argue that he was not an elite receiver, dropped too many balls, was a head case, and most certainly not worth what we paid for him, i had a ton of posters tell me how stupid i was.

I also guessed that after another season of the same thing (like anyone with a brain figured this mental midget could turn himself around), there would be far fewer people coming to his defense, looks like i was pretty on target with that too.

Just to make it clear, because i bet someone will try and call me on it, i am not suggesting we cut him, or trade him, the damage has been done, and if anyone is stupid enough to think we could get what we paid for him, from some other sucker, sterilize yourself immediately, don't make future generations pay for your mistakes.

Am i saying he will still not have a big game? No, he just makes no difference for our team, i guarantee you if he didn't play, we would really struggle to suck even more, in fact, we had a huge offensive output with him injured last year.

75% :chuckle:.......... silly, really.

its a good way to project, and to help build a story through exaggeration. but a simple 3 of 4 would suffice.
And what was dropped as apposed to whats not is always debatable. that last one was hardly a drop in my mind. I mean it never touched his hands. another mis-truth used in hopes of building something out of nothing. turrible.

Even Marshall said he does not have great hands. Or nor does he run good routes (his words). And he is not really fast.

A Alpha WR is supposed to make the hard catches. A $10 mill a year WR makes the near impossible catches. Anyone can make the easy ones.

IMO, B Marshall is being paid at least twice as much as he is worth.

IMAO, a WR is judged on tough catches he makes. On the TDs he catches and the routes he runs to get open for them. "Yards" do not count. "Amount of catches" do not really count.

What counts is the amount of routes he runs and catches he makes to score TDs.

Nonsense. A player is judged by how many jock sniffing fanboys ran out and bought his jersey....
