Marshall on Borderline Personality Disorder

There are a ton of gifted athletes in our world, but to me Brandon is inexplicably interesting and fascinating. All football aside, hope he continues to grow, mature, and educate others of his situation.

Hate to be a dick but that explains the knife. Hope Brandon keeps his disorder under control.

Am I the only one who thinks that this borderline personality disorder is a bunch of crap? He's just a crazy guy...that's really about it in my opinion.

wWho knows I think we all have disorders some people just cope better than others. Disorder or not he still is a pretty low character individual but hell he can play football

Then you obviously have no idea what BPD is, and don't know anybody who suffers from it. I do, there's no "bunch of crap" about it.

I like how u used the word "suffers" in there like he's some kind of terminally ill individual. The guy beat the crap out his woman numerous times, is BPD supposed to make me feel better about the guy? I think lockz is right, he's still a pretty low character individual. But whatever, as long as he holds on to the ball.

That's pretty stupid to say, a buddy of mine was diagnosed BPD and he ended up committing suicide. This can be A more serious condition than people expect.

Well I'm truly sorry for your friend. I just feel like Marshall uses the disorder as a scapegoat for his off the field troubles, that's all.

I mean It's not like he's out there saying "I beat my wife but it's ok because I have BPD." He talked about how he hated going out in public and being noticed because he hated talking to people, he said he was coming home and going straight to bed and not spending time with his wife because he was stressed and just didn't feel like doing anything.

It seems like to me that ever since he found out he had BPD he has been a lot happier and has learned to deal with it very well.

Neither is Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, yet I have an uncle who "suffers" from that too, and can speak to how terrible it is. Unless you're a therapist, or know someone personally who suffers from it, I don't see how you can sit here and try to downplay it.

I suffer from reading stupid posts all day.

Doesn't mean I'll die from it.

Sentences in red I agree with.
