Brandon Marshall is still complaining about his quarterback with the Dolphins more than two years after leaving Miami.

Marshall will face the Dolphins on Sunday for the first time since they traded him to the Chicago Bears. In a conference call Wednesday with South Florida reporters, the five-time Pro Bowl receiver talked about his two years with the Dolphins and quarterback Chad Henne.

"We were a quarterback away from having a team," Marshall said. "Our defense were studs. Offensively ... I really thought we had a young group of guys that could have done some special things if we came together. Unfortunately, we didn't have that opportunity."

Marshall didn't hide his disdain for Henne when they were teammates, and the Dolphins went 7-9 and 6-10. General manager Jeff Ireland traded Marshall in 2012 for three draft picks, none higher than the third round.

"I was surprised, but I was happy at the same time once Jeff Ireland told me where I was going," Marshall said. "I thought it was best for me and my family. ... Chicago is a dream come true."

And this coming from a guy in love of Jay Cutler. I guess the truth hurts.

Marshall was right though, and I dont really look at as "complaining" or "ripping" on a former teammate like the article suggests. Its a legit statement he made - we were a QB away from being a good team.

I didn't see where he "ripped" him. The article is very misleading.

He is not wrong. He just stated the obvious. This has been the case with this team for a LONG TIME. We have had plenty of solid defenses go to waste because we could not score points.

I remember him ripping Henne after the probowl were he caught 4 TD passes . Of course he failed to mention the many dropped TD passes he had that year. Wasn't it like 5 or 6 during our 7 game losing streak ?
Even though he was right about Henne that was very unprofessional and along with his domestic problems one more reason he was traded. In hind sight he might have done that on purpose to facilitate a trade to play with his home boy Cutler.

Exactly. He hardly tried to elevate the situation. He preferred to whine and complain, just as he's whined and complained about every quarterback he's played with not named Jay Cutler. And the reason he loves Jay is because Cutler will fling the ball to him even if he's triple covered. Marshall doesn't care if it gets intercepted and they lose as a result because he doesn't actually care about winning. He only cares about himself. There's a reason he's only been on one team with a winning record his entire career.

No problem with that because in that senario they are not teammates. One would be gone. or maybe both :idk:

in 2018 we will have one of Mike Wallace complaining about Tannehill soon enough if it keeps continuing this way.

Wallace will be lucky if he's still a viable player in the league in four years (when he'll be 32). Pure speed is the first thing to go and he doesn't offer much else.

Is this Marshall on or off medication - complaining about the QB when he Marshall was off his Meds

He was actually ripping Matt Moore considering Moore was his QB for most of that season...

Or Julio: "we were a QB with balls away from making a serious run in the postseason"
