Statement from Brandon Marshalls Attorney Harvey Steinberg regarding Club incident:

"On March 12,2012 Brandon Marshall was the key note speaker at a charitable event in New York. After the event was over he, his wife and close friends attended a function at a local club.

While at the function a fight broke out NOT involving Mr. Marshall or his friends. While attempting to leave to avoid the melee Mrs. Marshall was struck in the face by a thrown bottle. She suffered serious injury.

While attempting to leave and take his wife to the hospital, the mayhem continued outside. Finally Mr. Marshall was able to take his wife to the hospital where she was treated for serious injuries.

Mr. Marshall is hoping to assist authorities in regards to this matter."

More on the incident from Omar:

Former Miami Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall was involved in a incident at a New York night club Monday morning that could lead to the Pro Bowl receiver being questioned by police, and the NFL.

An altercation broke out at a party, which followed a charity event, and during the melee Marshall’s wife, Michi-Nogami Marshall, was injured by a bottle that was thrown.

It’s possible Marshall, who the Dolphins traded to the Chicago Bears on Tuesday for two third-round picks, could be questioned for his acts during the melee, which started inside the club and worked its way outside.
According to a source, one of the club’s participants is claiming they were injured by Marshall and his companions as they exited the club. New York police are investigating.

The Dolphins and Bears were aware of the incident before finalizing Tuesday’s trade.
Here’s a statement from Marshall’s Attorney Harvey Steinberg regarding the club incident:

Well now this is getting interesting.

Hope his wife is ok.

hmm... doesn't sound terrible. But I have a hard time faulting management for getting rid of him. It's just one thing after another

Yep, and I fell over a vase and stabbed myself.

Trouble always follows Brandon . . . as minor as his "attorney" makes it sound, I'm content with cutting ties at this point. I wish him well in Chicago.

IDK what to say other than that man is either a complete douche and retard or he seems to attract some crazy stories and has quite possibly the worst luck ever.

Unless there's convincing evidence, I think the NFL will throw the book at him. Too much history.
