well i'm plum shocked its tannehill...not...jeff better hope cleveland doesn't steal his thunder

watch us trade those 2 3rd rounders for soon to be on his death bed donald driver or some dumb crap...that will put a bow on this offseason
 
enduro i don't know if you know the answer or not but if you do what the heck happened with the damn flynn courting??? i've heard rumors that philbin was high on flynn but that ireland was not...and was more in the tannehill boat...

you got anything on this???

any insight on what happen in the manning fiasco, i know at one point it was 75% miami and 25% arizona. curious as to what happened. my guess was money
 
i've also heard rumors that some of the reason manning didn't seriously consider miami is that we were not willing to turn the offense over to peyton and let him do it his way...

which kills me but i've heard it bantered about

i dno how that's even feasible though... he didnt want to meet with us at all. kinda figured that kind of talk would have been brought up during the big time meetings the real contenders went through.

we seemed to have been scratched off the list well before that idea would have been thrown out there lol

well its always about the money. Jeff didn't want to spend that kind of money on someone that was rated slightly higher than matt moore. Flynn was considered more of a system qb than an actual talent. Maybe they just like tannehill more

The agents was feeding everyone bs. screwed again. This was ross's man. I know someone down in south florida that is relieved we didn't get manning. It would have wrecked our cap

a system qb for the system we hope to run...instead we go out and get david garrards washed up carcas and pay him $3.35 mil before incentives which could be $5 mil all told for one year...unreal

once we passed on flynn and i saw we got garrard i knew this whole thing was about tannehill at #8...no doubt in my mind...and i think jeff thinks he'll be there and so do i...

garrard and matt moore are both on one year deals tannehill may prove a fast learner in which case one of the others becomes expendable and can be cut but garrards there to teach him the ropes and how to be a pro...in 2013 if not sooner tannehill takes over

this is penny and henne handling all over again...
 
i highly doubt enduro and the incarcerated jackass but if this is true and we traded Marshall without a concrete plan and just a "handshake" deal with Philly for D. Jax, Irish is more of a moron than any of us couldve imagined...what a joke of a GM, other GMs are trolling this guy now...
 
So we would send 3 picks for a WR but won't give up 2 picks for a QB?

Makes zero sense which is exactly why I believe thus is true.
 
i don't know if enduro is telling the truth or not...i want to give him the benefit of the doubt though...but if you put the pieces together tannehill at #8 makes a lot of sense...just think of the way things went with penny and henne...veteran qb brought in to show henne how to be a pro and bridge the gap to him and think about the adding of garrard and tannehill being raw and needing some time to learn the ropes...

it looks like a carbon copy to me...irelands putting into play what he learned with parcells...the bridge the gap veteran who is a solid lockerroom presence and teammate and willing to teach the protege even though said vets skills have really eroded...i'm betting garrard gets the starting job in 2012 also over moore...its pretty obvious to me ireland and company do not believe in matt moore as a viable starting option...only way any of this changes is if tannehill proves he's ready faster than anticipated
 
and for all you weeden folks all indications are that kids pretty much ready to play right now and he better be given his advanced age...well david garrard would not be here another 34 year old long in the tooth vet if weeden was a target...it would be moore and weeden competing for the starting job...the second garrard signed here i think the weeden option was out...this is all about tannehill

thats my read anyways...
