Marshall was moved in order to complete a trade for D Jackson of philly

DeSean Jackson is a brat, a part time player who only gives effort when it suits him. If you thought Marshall was a difficult player then Jackson is a train wreck. If the story is true Philly did us a favor.

Agreed. He's a good player but he flat out quits when he's sulking.

Let me guess, you got this info from "SOURCES".

I know, I know...some of you think he is full ****....But he put out an interesting tweet.

According to him, Ireland had been in talks with the Eagles to trade picks (2nd and 3rd...something like that) for Desean Jackson after we traded Brandon Marshall. The B.Marsh picks were ammunition for a Desean trade and after we made the trade, Ireland's calls to Philly went unanswered. The EAGLES SCREWED US.

So . . . a 2nd and 2 3rds . . . plus a $10 million a year contract for Desean Jackson.

We still lose on that trade. Am I supposed to be jumping up for joy at the thought of this? So we downgrade at WR and give up a 2nd round pick in the process.

this was a gentlemens agreement and we got left holding the picks

I just don't see why you do that... Was there ever a plan b? I mean how do you trade your biggest weapon without any collateral aside from two three rounders. Jeff isn't a good business man by my estimation if that was the case

Brandon was moved as part of a trade that would have us send a 2nd, and two 3rds to philly for D jackson. Philly then backed out of the deal after the marshall trade was complete. Now what do you think of Jeff Ireland? I would have loved that.

sending this to spam won't change the truth about this. I will revisit this after the truth comes out.

this happens more than you might think.

The eagles just traded for Ryans, you think they would be interested in regaining a few picks? Was it Andy Reid who did this?!

still might happen (trade for wr) but its a little more complicated. it was owner J.L. (with contract issue) stay tune

So you are telling me in the end this would have cost us 3 2nd round pics and 2 3rd round picks? (2 of the three was what we paid for Marshall). So we are supposed to feel better that he was trying to make a trade to give away our #1 WR and a 2nd for a talented slot WR and KR who they just gave a big contract extention. Well, I'm so glad he's even more incapable than we thought and couldn't seal the deal, because this was a horrible deal.
