Marshall was moved in order to complete a trade for D Jackson of philly

Exactly where would Jackson had fit in our new offense? If memory serves me, he doesn't exactly run the whole route tree needed for Philbin's playbook. Not to mention we already have a slot WR that this FO loves (even though Jackson would have been an upgrade over him).

If all this is true, the whole thing reeks of amateurism.

I think he will be released soon and I could see the fins bringing him in to work with a more friendly offense for him if he's committed himself. I don't think he's washed up yet. we shall see though

he couldn't learn the pats o last year but his skills even before that were seriously eroding...looks done to me...but we'll see
