This has been blown out of proportion. He was ****ing around.

Agree, but he was chuckling after he said it. To me, he just came across as he was irritated with reporters and just said something foolish.
 
It was blown out of proportion as is done with most things these athletes say. I wonder why they even speak publicly. Either they say something ridiculous or its misconstrued to sound stupid.
 
I hate the media. These guys can't say anything these days without it being all blown out of proportion or taken out of context. It's like when Brett Favre said something about AR and the Packers. It just sounded to me like he was commenting on how good that team was and they tried to say he was talking **** about Rodgers.
 
Blown out of proportion is an understatement... I live in Montreal and in an hour span, I heard his comments 5 times on the local sports radio... YES! in Montreal, CANADA!...
 
Saying you are going to do something and actually doing it are two different things. If the NFL fined guys for running their mouth and saying stupid s-h-i-t, there would be a lot of broke players.
