Right, so you were born dumb.
You don't win a debate with this. Goes to show the lack of maturity and facts you have in said debate.
Right, so you were born dumb.
Why would it be assumed that the NFLPA would be on Ingonito's side? The "state" has the same conflict of interest when
a public defender is appointed for someone on trial. The NFLPA is is legally bound to represent all it's members equally.
There is no interest conflict.
This is exactly why I think its important to stay away from public defenders, if one has the means (unless you are Casey Anthony). This is a huge flaw to the system that I have experienced first hand, that honestly has no solution that I can see (where would funding come from). Anyway, enough judicial and political talk. Martin is still an opportunist, but I am waiting to see what comes out of all this.
It was just an illustration of how the same "conflict of interest" happens every day, and all the time. If anything, the NFLPA would
represent both sides fairly, but I don't think that is what Martin is after. I think he's after money, and I think he's positioning himself
for a career outside of football. Honestly, I don't think he intended things to happen like this and spiral as they have.
His name is absolute "mud" in the NFL now, and with most Americans, I think.
His "Lawyer" also ran for the NFLPA top job.Agreed on all points there. I think he has NO intention of coming back to the NFL for any team, which is why this is his perfect monetary and legal exit plan. He doesn't care what reputation he has culminated because, in my opinion, he thinks he wont deal with another locker room. I might be completely off base, time will tell. If this is what it looks like though, man have some DIGNITY! If all you wanted, was to make sure you kept your checks rolling in, don't bring other people down with you.
One last point, what I meant from my previous post, was that if one has the means and choice to avoid the conflict of interest (such as the NFLPA in this particular case), then I understand why his lawyer chose to do it. Like I mention above though, he has shown to be nothing but an opportunist so far.
Right, so you were born dumb.
Actually, I think I won using what little facts we do have in said debate. The "born dumb" comment was kinda lowbrow, but it was just sitting there - I had to do it.You don't win a debate with this. Goes to show the lack of maturity and facts you have in said debate.
That's interesting, but how is that conflict of interest? His "Lawyer" also ran for the NFLPA top job.
Talk about conflict of interest.
That's interesting, but how is that conflict of interest?
Maybe.Well, it's not so much a conflict of interest, but it's definitly "An axe to grind".
Maybe.
Where Conwell's conflict of internet is he is Martins lawyer and also the head of the NFL coaches union. When they go after Turner what is he suppose to do then?
The coaches association is nothing...It only exists to license and make money from video games.
Yeah, but the NFLPA represented the best chance of early arbitration for both players IF this was just a dispute between THEM, with good intentions all around. I think it confirms the Martin camp is going after the NFL itself, as mnphinfan suggests.Maybe, but the NFLPA has an inherent conflict of interest in this case since they represent both Martin and Incognito. So it makes sense that you don't want someone representing Incognito in the room while presenting your side of the argument. Martin's immediate goal is to get the NFL investigator to accept as much of what he tells him as the truth. That isn't necessarily the NFLPA's primary goal.
