Martin is a Great pick and a steal at #41....

Good pick, let us see who picks better oline Philbin or tony. Lots of line men run through here last 4 years, hopefully Ireland is getting better at it.

I like Martin the player, but I'm not a fan of the pick there.

We continue to spend playmaker picks on linemen that we could have found later in the draft.

Stephen Hill. Ryan Broyles. Reuben Randle. All still there.

And Bobbie Massie was the better player if you wanted a linemen.

Stronger guy from the battle-tested SEC. Kid is a mauler.

JCane we are a year away. Fix the trench now. Receivers are always available. We will be fine

if he was a 1st round grade then best player available may have met a huge need area. that's the perfect scenario.

Good pick, and if the fish and Jake Long cant get together on a new long term contract. Martin can then move to LT in the future. Massie would have been the pick under the tuna, but the fish are looking for better movement from the O-Lineman.

I forgot, offensive lineman are a dying breed. Best that we loaded up before the offensive line rapture hit!

Get a little tired of watching our top picks go to the OL positions especially in the past when we had Sporano the OL Guru... Positive side, if we can resign Jake, we have 3 pretty good linmeman starting if this kid pans out. If we can get a decent WR in the third and somehow find a pass rusher, our team has been strengthened.

Hate the Tannehill but love this pick. Great value, great player.

You guys should relax, there is a LOT of playmakers still left in this deep draft. There wasn't many Oline like Martin left. We got value there.

You can't pass to your playmakers if you don't have a blocker on the right side..

1st round talent LT. Moving him to RT makes this a shockingly good pick.

the rest of our division got immensely better on their defensive fronts, what's not to like about this pick? You have to neutralize their playmakers first in order for your playmakers to do something. good pick.

I thought he would be our guy once our pick neared. Great value pick.

considering we are switching to a zone blocking scheme I think Philbin is looking for a specific type of lineman. Obviously Martin fit that mold and he would have been gone in the third.

This is the first time we made a good pick in the 2nd round in a long time.....think about these players....Pat White, Merling,Henne,Misi.....Martin will start from day one for us and could be our LT at some point too and we got him at 42.

Ozzy rules!!

I love this pick regardless of whay Mel Kiper says. Martin was great value at 41. If most remember he was mocked to us at #8 with Reiff. Martin and Long is a really good Bookend. The only other guys that we could have taken was Lavonte David if we are running a 4-3, Bobbie Massie , or Peter Konz ( if we wanted to put Pouncey at his natural position at Guard) We can find a WR, Safety, OLB , and more line depth later in the draft. I dont really have opinion of Tannehill. He has tools and could be good, but in the same he could be a huge flop. I like the Martin pick and now if we grab a WR and OLB with our 2 3rd round picks I would be pretty happy.
Happy with the pick - protect the quarterback!
