Martin is a Great pick and a steal at #41....

yeah no kidding, Colombo was terrible last year, Murtha is on a 1 year contract and can't stay healthy to save his life. Martin was projected by many as the 3rd best OT in this draft and we got him in the 2nd round... this is a win-win-win. I guess the only complaint I can see is that we have to pick another O-line after drafting so many, but come on this is a great selection across the board.
 
So far so good. Tannehill may have been a reach but very much needed!!

Martin could be a steal, and definately fits a need!

Ireland is doing pretty good so far. Back to back picks in round 3 is huge!

Plenty of WR's still available. Still need a pass rusher too.

The only other guys that we could have taken was Lavonte David if we are running a 4-3, Bobbie Massie , or Peter Konz ( if we wanted to put Pouncey at his natural position at Guard) We can find a WR, Safety, OLB , and more line depth later in the draft. I dont really have opinion of Tannehill. He has tools and could be good, but in the same he could be a huge flop. I like the Martin pick and now if we grab a WR and OLB with our 2 3rd round picks I would be pretty happy.

I hate to say this but..........I also love the pick, bottomline Martin can move really well for a big guy and is super smart. He will be a day 1 starter at RT he is a steal at 41 period plus he's "1000" times better than BUMBO was last year
 
Man, I'm loving this draft so far. If we finish up the day with a DE and WR, I'd be estatic. But either way, I'm going to trust the FO on this one.
 
Not sure how many legit pass rushers there are left worthy of a 3rd round pick... I think we go WR, CB or TE with our round 3 picks...

Better a cornfed 2nd who will make the team & play a few years ... rather than our long string of 2nd Round skill-player bust-a-roos!!

Maybe it'll break the curse of the 2nd Round.

Its a need & we ain't going anywhere for a few years so score it ... Meh, Whatever, fills a big need!!

or Jason Taylor or Jarod Allen... are we drafting from the CFL?


point is those types of players rarely slip through the cracks and teams are lucky to hit on them once a decade. So if your banking on a guy like one of the aboved mention, then you're dreamin.
 
Yeah a talented player and a big need and I understand, but kind of sucks in the sense that Stephen hill was there and miami could have gotten him and maybe not just that, but the fact that other teams didnt take him. And the fact that of all things, the team right after miami was the Jets and since miami didn't get him, the Jets have him, damn it ha. So miami basically gave the jets the chance of getting a top WR, but then again maybe he won't. It will take him a few years anyway so now I hope Hill doesn't become a great WR. We'll see, but on the positive note miami got a good tackle which they badly needed
 
good pick. Now if u want to settle our OL for life, draft Kevin Zeitler or Bobby Massie to play OG. Massie is a mauler, so plug him at OG and Incognito at the other OG and our OG's are huge maulers.
 
I like the pick. He was a good player (rank pretty high) and at a position that was a problem for us last year.
 
this was my favorite pick, i really love it, and surprised he fell to us, gonna be a nice o line, long, cogs, pouncey, jerry, martin
 
The way I see it: do you want the 2nd best RT (I would argue hes the best RT because he's better than Riley Reiff) or the 4th or 5th (or 6th) WR. Hill is good but still raw. Hill is 2nd tier WR.

We got a 1st rounder in the 2nd round that fills a HUGE need for us. That's a WIN! Ireland has done a good job of satisfying the fanbase (QB in 1st round and picking a UM player) while filling holes (QB, RT, TE, and DE all needs). Day 1 and 2: A-.
