Martin is trying to bring the NFL to it's knees

BTW, there are many quiet, thoughtful and intelligent men who have played in the NFL Merlin Olsen comes to mind. He was relentless on the field.
There have also been guys like Buonicotti, Jake Scott, Dick Anderson etc who went on to become Attorneys, Physicians etc.
I don't buy this notion that Martin was just too smart and thoughtful to be in an NFL locker room full of a Neanderthals. Its not that cut and dry. We are in the gray zone here, I believe.

I brought this possibility up several times in other threads: by liberally redefining normally accepted NFL rites of passage and setting a new legal precedent, it will open the same kind of Pandora's Box as the concussion class action suit, enabling a lot of scrubs, marginal players and even down on their luck decent players over several decades to come out of the woodwork in hope of dipping into the NFL's deep pockets. If you think this is about Martin's alleged charges which hit 3 different PC hot buttons including racism, workplace harassment and violence, you're being naive. He's a means to a much bigger end.

As far as Martin bringing the NFL to its knees, that's an ironic notion as I've come to strongly suspect it's usually the other way around as per who ends up on their knees :idk:
