Martin Looks Good

J Martin made some real nice blocks in the running game! He was one of the players that shined in my eyes.

Boston also looked good.

yeah a few bright spots... i think our second string Oline did well, gave gus good time in the pocket... also i saw donnie spragen around the ball a lot, he seemed kinda slow but he was in on a lot of things, hes a big boy, him and channing...

Yeah, the first few plays Zach was Zach also, he was all over the place. Spragen did a good job on pass defense. But I was not too impressed with the defense. what did the Bears get 400 plus yards!!! THE BEARS????

remember how weak we are in the secondary- and remember that most of those yards came against the third and fourth string of a very shallow secondary.

Yeah, but even when the first string was in, we were getting killed on those quick slants. I know we need work, but I was hoping for some more out of the defense!

IMO, I think Spragen was slow in pass defense.

I've always liked Martin and it will be a shame if he doesn't make the team in some way. He's a beast when it comes to blocking (he's like another o-lineman out there), plus he has those HUGE shoulder pads. I don't know if he'll fit in with this offense since he's not much of a receiving threat, but a team does need a FB who can punish defenders...and Martin can do that.
