Martin Speaks on twitter

It doesn't bother me to make that leap at all.

I had a little recent crisis with my middle son where I had to advise him on
his course of action, and in the end it was pretty much "Stand up for yourself. Don't
give up your ground. It's a bad situation, that will only be made worse by running away.
Close on it and destroy it bit by bit. Never run away."

I can't believe there are people here that still defend Martin in this whole thing.

He's just a ****ing *****.

My dad always said to me. Stand up to bullies & they will back down. He was right.

I'm surprised he has time for twitter, considering all the time devoted to his lawsuit. It was all about the money.
I still don't believe that it was about the money. I think that it was an emotional implosion by a normally analytical guy and things just got out of hand. However, once headed in that direction, he couldn't head back and it unravelled from there. I really think that the pressure from not playing well enough led to a mini breakdown. While some on here get their kicks out of denigrating J-Mart, there is nothing amusing in a mental health disorder. I genuinely wish him well for a full recovery. His football career is probably in tatters.

This wasn't your traditional "Bully" situation, but it was essentially the same thing.
He's paid the price for running from it and appeaseing it for this long.
He finally came to me, and, I told him what to do.

Which I could'e done if he would've come to me in the first place.

Or his mother.

Either one. But he chose to cave in, and kunckle under.

Now, he's in the same place he was in before, except lots of dollars lighter.

I would tend to agree with you.

I think he's simply mentally weak and he unraveled.

I don't think it was about the money at all. He's born of a silver spoon.

He's just not used to being questioned or challenged, and he wasn't up to the pressure
of being a OLT in the NFL. I have no doubt RI put pressure on him.

I don't think he's got ANY sort of ****ing disorder though.

GoonBoss - I hope that he learned from the incident. Sometimes the best learnings in life are expensive, but he had to work it out.

I once had to drive back into work to return a key I'd taken with me.
One guy in 13 building (Where we have the rare pleasure of being searched) said..."Aw man, that sucks!
That's bull****!"

I shrugged and said

"Stupid should hurt."

There was a German lady that works 13 building a lot that laughed out loud. "Ja...Ja...." It
was funny to hear her acutally say it.

The team cannot spend too much looking back.

As Ray Lewis would say, "Only a fool trips on whats behind them."

If he is that fragile and in the national spot light…get the **** off of Twitter. BTW, he can save the lectures to everyone. What the hell does he think he is going to see on Twitter?

Its real easy to lecture from the Ivory tower when his mom lets him. The problem with idiots who think they have the moral high ground is that they are idiots.

I'm big on forgiveness. Someone ask him for his mailing address. I'll send him a gift certificate for Tootsie's.

I think Martin is an attention whore who loves this ****. Why else would he post on Twitter when he knows the reaction he's gonna get. He probably gets amused by it. He's a loser.

Bunch of cowards in here, a guy has emotion and mental problems and you guys go to twitter to bully him even more.

And I don't for a second like Martin or think what he did was right, by no means am I giving him a pass, but I as heck am not the kind of pathetic weak mental midget that needs to try to make the guys life harder.

Then why post the garbage you posted before that?

I don't believe for one second he has any emotional issues. I believe that's a course of action he knew he could take to get some cover from some ppl in this world.

He deserves every sick comment he gets. His actions had real world consequences for real ppl.

I forgive him as well. This doesn't mean I need to respect him or even like him.

lol did you quote Ray Lewis?

Oh goodness!

Yo, ohall, I'd love to have a discussion with you about weighing the long-term consequences of our actions against the immediate personal benefits but Mary Jane's got me stuck to the couch, lol.

Here'e where I start to wonder how it's going to go. Clearly, JM has issues...And he's used MJ to get him by.

Just like Ricky Williams.
