Martin Speaks on twitter

What are we going to do w him? Do you think someone will give us a draft pick for him or are we just going to have to cut him?

if our new GM wants to make a good impression on Dolphins fans their first act should be to cut the snake Martin.

I wouldn't cut him. Hes on a 2nd round rookie contract. Cutting him most likely means he gets rewarded with a raise from his second team. I make him man up and deal with it and force him to ride the pine if he cant cut it. If/when the facts come in and it shows no negligence on the dolphins part I sue him. As hard as keeping him on the roster is for folks including me to swallow I would rather not set a precedent that if you want off the team this is what you have to do. Let future and present players know this is NOT an option. My 2 coppers anyway...

i disagree simply because i do not think that anyone will sign him after this stunt he pulled. no one wants that type of cancer in the locker room. i don't want him back at training camp and because a new distraction.

For every failed high round draft pick there is at least one coach who's ego tells him he can "fix" him.

Down ? the guy just collected paychecks and didnt earn them , and for some one that is down , i seen him at the Stanford game having fun , just like nothing ever happened , and for not taking his problems to inside the Org , will cost him when trying to resign with a new Team , because players isnt going to walk around on egg shells thinking that they may be the next that Martin runs and snitches on , over something stupid , i cant see other players wanting Martin to come in to there Team , i think he is DONE ......

We have his rights , and he cant play for another Team unless we say so , or until we cut him , which i dont see us doing , he will get punished just like he did our Team .we can hold his rights until his ass is back on the field , not just because the 2 year or whatever contract he signed , it all has to be on the field , and back on the team , before it counts ...

Personally I would never go to Twitter and tweet anything negative to a pro athlete who has ability I don't have. I honestly can't believe people do, internet tough guys at their best. With that being said Stanford educated John Martin has got to be smart enough to realize that is the reaction he would get right or wrong especially considering it's what he already got from his Merry Christmas tweet. He should be smart enough to stand clear of Twitter as general tweets like his are not a necessity. I think he's smart enough but loves the attention, nobody should feel bad for this guy.
