Too bad Wale wasn't crying about wanting to go back to Miami.

Don;t you guys remember Marty Booker stated he was crying because he did not want to leave Chicago.
 
Good for Marty Booker. I hope things work out for the guy. I really liked him, and was excited to see him come to Miami. He had some good games, and some bad ones. Unfortunately he never panned out as well as we had hoped. But he did play his heart out, he is a great guy, and a decent ball player.

And I do remember him talking about staying up at night crying, but it had nothing to do with playing for the Bears. I believe he missed his wife and daughter, since he had to abruptly leave for Miami. It was a rather sudden trade, and he was not given time to prepare his family.
 
I hope he gets a good contract and finishes his career on top and in a good team he's happy in.

Yeah, I remember that. I felt bad for him. He loved Chicago, just bought a new house and thought his contract meant he'd be around for a while. That would be a tough situation for anyone to just have to up and go when they were already quite happy where they were.
