Marty Booker Maybe a June 1 ?

I remember hear on WQAM or 790 the ticket
that Booker maybe a JUNE 1. cut
I guess the draft will tell the story!
 
If the Dolphins draft Ted Ginn Jr. or Dwayne Jarrett, maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing.
 
There's no such thing as June 1st cuts anymore. Teams can cut (I don't know how many...could be 2..maybe 1 not sure) on the first business day of the year (March 1/2nd) and designate them as their "June 1st". It went into the last CBA to keep some guys from twisting in the wind. So it's possible one of the cuts was applied to this already. Chances are it won't be reported though now.

Also, lets think here. Booker has NO signing bonus to accumulate. They can cut him anytime without any cap hit.
 
Booker deserves the money he's suppose to get... He played great last year. I hate to see guys who played well get cut cause they dont' want to spend the money... Taylor, Thomas, Brown etc. deserve the money they are due as does Booker.

i made a thread bout this no one responded to it.

Funnyo how 2 months ago i said booker will get cut i got bashed now anyones possible of gettn cut n ppl are saying sure it can happen.
 
I also think Chambers is gonna have a great year with Cameron in charge of the plays! All Harrington could do was short passes to Welker last year.... and an occasional lousy throw to Chambers.

AGREED, A QB with a decent arm can make Chambers great once again....Harrington and Culpepper were not even close.
 
At this point in time might as well just let the blood letting continue. Heck, cut them all and start anew.
 
I think it depends on the draft really. Wouldnt be surprised to have both here next year, wouldnt be surprised to have one or the other, wouldnt be surprised to have neither.

CC is overrated and just a #2 who people keep trying to pretend is a #1. Booker is also a solid #2, but at least we dont pretend hes a 1.
