The Patriots will host free agent Marty Booker on Tuesday.

With Donte' Stallworth set to be cut loose shortly, Booker would give the Pats an alternative to free agent Jabar Gaffney. Booker is also believed to be on the Cowboys' radar. These teams appear to be looking at Booker as an outside receiver, not a slot guy.

Im convinced Belicheat is a Closet Dolphin fan, the guy has a hard on for every player we release including Kyle Eckel
 
they like old guys from the division to give them insight, but right now everybody knows how to beat us, show up

but yeah... i wonder if Zach Thomas went to New England today to talk Booker up huge, so New England signs him right away for a lot, jsut as a HUGE prank to the Patriots... joke on Billicheck!?!?!?!?!?
 
Gaffney > Booker.

I hope they do sign him because he's no longer a good player. A lot of times some people here at Finheaven freak out because our former players succeed on the Patriots. Well it's not like we were neccessarily "misusing" those player's talents, it's just that going to a great team will make a mediocre player look a lot better.

Send Evans, Morris, Seau, Welker, Eckle and the other Fins to other teams and they aren't the "great" players we make them out to be with the Pats.

yea i dont care if they Sign him eather he is not as good as he once was i am just hoping he doesnt Become good when/ or if he goes to NE that seem to happen alot

I honestly think hes a better player than he showed in miami.
 
He never wanted to be here and it showed, i totally busted him on film doggin it and schmoozzing with the enemy. i can't stand that guy

you hit the nail on the coffin... they just like to stick it to us.. but its ok because i dont expect zach to join them.. marty maybe... i just think zach is using the pats so that he can show other teams that hes got options... i could really care less for marty booker ... plus it doesnt matter when these players leave because we will be running new terminoligy on offense and defense with our new coaching staff ... so might as well get rid of traitors like marty booker because i dont think zack will dime us out like that.

Yeah, well again as I said in my previous post, players are going to get better in New England. It's a great system and when you surround average players with great players, it's going to elevate the game of those middle of the road guys.

May I ask why?

I just didn't see the effort, the drive, the determination to do anything more then collect a pay check. DJ hit it pretty well in saying the Marty dogs it and he also drops the football. He didn't seem to care and that's a huge problem in my eyes. He made it quite clear he didn't want to be here from the outset and I think he just kept his mouth shut over the years rather then being a giant media distraction.
