Any news on him??? Is he still our #2??? Will he get traded??? whats the deal on him

As Far as right now...no news, hes our number 2, and unless a wide receiver from another team gets injured during training camp and we find a team willing to trade for him I think he will stay a fin for this year atleast....unless cam dumps him and has hagan/ginn as our number 2 and 3

Im hoping Hagan can step up in camp and can compete for the #2 so that we can trade booker and show Hagan was a steal in the draft

Marty Booker is a beast and like most of our offensive personel is highly underrated on finheaven.

Booker is solid and dependable. Just the kind of guy we need to convert the 3rd downs. Yeah, it would be nice for Hagan to step up and Booker be expendable and us get a little something for him but if we enter the season with him at #2 I would not be dissapointed either.

At best he is an old posession receiver...I really hate to say it:unsure:

So explain to me why with just a few games left in the season last year, Marty Booker led all WR's in the NFL with most plays of 40+ yards from the line of scrimmage.

i think this will be his last year as a dolphin unless he has a really good season

Marty will do well with Green throwing to him. He is the most consistent receiver on the team. He usually gets open and when the ball hits him in the hands he catches unlike other receivers on the team. Trading him would net very little at this point in his career. Trading Chambers would net something. Not saying that they should do that, but he is younger than Booker and is seen as a greater threat. I do also hope that Hagan comes around and I hope to see Ginn blazing down the sidelines as well.

trade him while we can still get something in return... don't wait for him to be injured or have a bad season, this is the perfect timing to work a trade. plus, hagan is suposingly ready to step up and we have ginn as our slot receiver, I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger and i'm pretty sure randy doesn't either, I think he can't get what he wants and that's why he's still with us

Neither Booker or Chambers have earned their high salaries. Not even close.

It's probably the last year for both of them as Dolphins. 11 million dollars can fetch an elite football player.

With Hagan and Ginn gaining experience this year I defintely see the FO divulging itself of an overpaid old possesion receiver and perennial disappointment.

I'd rather spend that 11 million on a FA TE and Alan Faneca.

whats makes u think hagan is ready. Cam has said throughout mini camp that he was impressed by his improvement but needs to see more...thats quite far in my opinion from takin a job from a NFL veteran who knows wat gettin the job done is all about...Marty was are best reciever last year...yeh yeh some of u mite want to say it was welker but i dont think so if u look at it the only big plays we got in the pass last year were from marty booker...so why dont we just let the guy play witout all the trade talks.

From what I've read recently, Hagan has been looking pretty good. He needs to have a good training camp. If he does, he could be pushing Marty Booker for the #2 receiver spot. He was pretty good in the PAC-10. I don't watch a lot of PAC-10, but I heard he broke a bunch of records when he was at Arizona State. He needs to make sure his focus and concentration has improved and he can catch almost any ball thrown to him ... especially in high pressure situations. Like a lot of rookie receivers, he might have been too excited and amped up last year and he dropped a few. This year, he needs to be focused, smooth and cool .... running those routes just like in practice ... like he's been doing it in the Pros for 10 years or something.

Same thing with Ted Ginn. As a first rounder, Ted's going to have get up to speed in a hurry and make some contributions as a receiver this year. Who knows, maybe he could push Chambers for playing time. I'm sure Cam is going to find out who's good and who isn't in the next month or so. The best receivers will get the playing time.
