I think what's been lost in all the Chambers talk is the good game that Marty Booker had. Maybe this is a coincidence, but it apppears that when Booker is involved in the offense, Gus plays better. Booker lacks the speed and athleticism of Chambers, but he catches the ball consistently. We need to use more plays that exemplify Marty's skills (slants, crossing routes, etc.) and get him more involved.

Booker is awesome, Chambers WAS good- but remember he made a good one hand TD grab yesterday, and i want Orande Gadsden back. And i think we gotta promote Gilmore, he can catch balls:)

Yep. Booker was solid. Just a shame some of those throws to Chambers wasnt aimed at Booker in the same situation. Would have been interesting to see if Booker might have caught some of the passes Chambers dropped. I like Chambers but hes not helping his confidence with those drops.

Really, his confidence has to be shot. I hope Chambers doesn't read this site. Some people have no support for him. I believe somone posted last night that he actually only dropped one pass(4 were defensed, 3 weren't deemed drops, and tehn one drop). I realize we expect him to catch some of teh ones he didn't. At first I thought he should have had that last TD, but after watching a few times, it was a tough catch. If that throw had more on it and was like a shade in front he woulda caught it running. Even if it had more on it he woulda caught it for sure, because his hands wouldn't have been 2 inches off the ground trying to catch that ball, instead it woulda been in his body.
Anyways though, players know when they screw up. They see it on film consistently, and they know what happened from the game. They don't need fans saying they suck and calling for thier heads. They need support through thick and thin. None of this, "I love so and so" everytime they do something good and then turn around and say "Bench so and so" whenever they falter. I for one support my team's players and trust in them to give 100% every game. That means Booker, Chambers, Welker, etc. I'll root for them all. If they have a bad game, I'll keep rooting, and just hope they make up for it the next chance they get.

Through 08... cool! for some reason I thought 06 was the last year on his contract.

He should be the #1 guy. I'd say move Chambers to the slot, but I'd rather have Welker there. Give that Gilmore kid #2 if he's still on the team.

Gilmore is still on the team. He just hasnt had a look in with Welker stepping up. Gilmore is the fastest WR on team.

Put him #2 and Chambers on the bench for a few weeks.

Booker is up and down. I like what I see one game, and then I am in question the next. He is a good #2 receiver. Hopefully, Chambers will get back on track soon and justify his position as the #1 receiver.

Thats quite a big adjustment. Do you really think we can afford to bench Chambers? That's an interesting call Agua. Are you saying that because you have no confidence in Chambers or just to give him a kick up the a** to give him a reality check, or is it because you want to see if Gilmore can step up? If the season is spent would you throw Lemon in at QB as well?

Well Gus hasn't really looked Booker's way since week 1.

We have NO No1 WR's on this team and two No2 WR's. Thats the problem guys and gals.

Booker is a #1 receiver. He played great in Chicago as one. He should be our #1 receiver.
