Marty sour on lemon deal: Keep an eye on the relationship between Chargers GM A.J. Smith and Chargers head coach Marty Schottenheimer. Chargers players say that this week, Schottenheimer addressed the team in a meeting  beginning with news to the entire squad that he had no idea about the Cleo Lemon trade. Schottenheimer informed the team that the deal was done without his knowledge, and the coach was clearly not happy about it.

Lemon isn't a big name but was very well liked inside that locker room.
 
This is old news...was posted the week we made the deal ??

Bottom line is that the wheels could come unraveled for the Bolts if
AJ Smth and Marty don't get their eggs togehter....

yeah, yeah, yeah whatever...

They talked about how people in Philly were feeling bad when Feeley was traded away...

I think this was more of a power struggle thing than trading away a great player thing...

Give me a break he was 4th string last season...until he comes in and performs well in a Fins uniform to me he is what he is...a cheap third string QB...compared to an expensive 3rd string QB in Feeley...
 
I keep hearing alot of hype surrounding this Lemon character. I want to see what all the fuss is about. Marty's got Brees / Rivers, and here he is complaining about losing Lemon???....

What the story with this guy anyway???....

I think he is more upset that he got stuck with Feeley if you ask me...

I posted an article from the local North County Times here as well. Marty said that whether it was a 7 yard pass, or a 40 yard pass, that Lemon throws his ball with the same amount of rpm's. He said that he was very consistant with throwing the ball.
