martyball or billick

Billick gets great staffs and can turn a little into something...Marty....I like marty ball.
Certainly either over Fisher.

so winning that title wherever he is coaching qualifies him? Nope it doesnt.
 
Billick and i like marty too. Say what you want about Billick but he builds as good a staff as anyone. 7 coaches he brought in eventually became NFL head coaches. He can identify coaching talent as well as anyone. People wanna harp on his offense while in Baltimore and thats fair but lets look at in perspective. Half of his years there his offense was in the top half of the league in points scored. He tailored his team around its personnel. He had a dominant defense and very little offensive talent so he played it very close to the vest on offense and allowed his defense to win games and have his offense not lose them. When he fired Fassel and called his own plays the year before he was fired he led the team to a 13-3 record. He seems like hes a very adaptive coach to what he has to work with. You cant take away what he did in Minny. He led that offense to break NFL records.

Everyone would be happy with Chuckie, who is proclaimed this big offensive guru. But if you look at the numbers Chuckie's offense put up when he was in Tampa, it was worse than Billicks in Baltimore. Billick won a superbowl which is an extremely hard thing to do.

I dont see any evidence at all that Fisher is a better coach than Billick. The only time Fisher made the superbowl was due to one of the biggest fluke plays in NFL history. Billicks resume is pretty darn good to me.
