So Wheeler technically hasn't been cut yet, but looks like both will be released at 4:00PM today. Assuming no trade happens, which I would be surprised if one did.

How the **** can you trade Wheeler who's been cut? Lol. Why would a team even attempt that trade. My guess is the front office thinks that the retirement of Willis in San Fran will make the team hungry for a vet. Why not just wait until 4pm?

Nice idea to try but there's no freakin way some team picks up Wheeler and that awful contract. They were probably asked to make an attempt by their respective agents and the Dolphins did it in good faith. Wheeler will sign with some linebacker desperate team although it's a dumb move...he can't play...he's awful and he doesn't play special teams...useless.

Ellerbe will probably end up back in Baltimore.

We can only hope Belichick would sign one of them...or both. It would improve our chances of winning greatly.
