Massive 4 man front.

Big friggin deal. Teams will tear their sorry assss pass defense apart then. LOL, this is getting comical with this NE stuff on their ' WALL OF TERROR ' Its 2011, let them have their fat assses up front. Now let them try to fgure out how to put a pass defense together. When Brady goes away, the Patriots will finally be like that were until he came. SUCKY. they have sucked the entire life of their organization until Brady got there. Like the Jets, a brief blip here and there. Downward spiral of the classless Hoodie and his team starts this season. Watch for it.
do you think they need to have a good pass defense against us?

I never said they were a godsend and if u think the partiots were the only team to break the rules then u live in a dream world. I could care less for any team as a whole besides my team but there is no doubt that with belicheck the pats are always very good. look at last years roster and tell me they have a 14-2 team. we probably had more overall telent than they had yet Belichek gets the most out of his team while the better team saprano has he seems to get worse results. 10 straight winning seasons with 3 superbowl wins gets u that respect whether u like it or not.

You didn't have to say it . . . it is indicated in the way you respond to replies regarding them. Hey I'm not the biggest Sparano fan . . . but wasn't Belichek getting kicked out of Cleveland before striking it rich with Brady? We have had 4 coaching staffs and a decade plus of trying to find a replacement for one of the all time great QB's. Bill obviously didn't place "the value" on QB that fans want the Fins to place (first round pick) either . . . sometimes it goes like that. I'm not trying to take away from his job coaching his team . . . and I understand he gets respect . . . that is fine, but every move he makes doesn't turn into gold. This move to the 4 man fronts could work, but it could also backfire . . . I don't think it is accurate to automatically assume because Belichek is pulling the strings it is a good move. I think it is a good move because with all those picks . . . he failed to get a decent pass rusher in the draft from the OLB spot so it became easier to stockpile 4-3 linemen in free agency and try to rush the passer like that.

Genius if it works, but to me it looks more like a desperate move for a guy who is still living with the fact that he choked away a perfect season and hasn't won a playoff game since.

Belichek gets the benefit of the doubt because he is successful. 10 straight winning seasons and three championships is successful. If we had that success Im pretty sure u would agree. Of course it could backfire but when u earn that respect people give u the benefit of the doubt. As for not getting a good pass rusher reports are he is very high on Jermaine Cunningham becoming that guy. He obviously wasnt very concerned because he did not address this in draft and he did sign some guys that might possibly return to form in Anderson from bears who had 12 sacks a few years ago. I watched that superbowl and dont remember seeing any damn choking I just remember a miracle catch helping the Giants win. Im glad it happened because as a dolphin fan all we seem to have is our perfect season to hang our hat on.
