Master Draft Plan - Big Trade Possibility

Based on Bill Parcells' relationship with Ny Jets and Dallas we are able to complete the following two trades.


1st Trade:
#1 Overall (3000 pts) to NY Jets (who want McFadden)

for

#6 Overall (1600 pts), #36 overall (540), #72 (230) and WR Laverneus Coles

2nd Trade:
#6 Overall (1600 pts) to Dallas

for

#22 (780), #31 (600) and #63 (276)

That gives us an experienced Receiver (Coles) and the following draft choices:

1(22) - Aquib Talib, CB
1(31) - Early Doucette, WR
2(32) - Kentwan Balmer, DT
2(36) - Chris Williams, OT
2(59) - Heath Newberry, OG
2(63) - Jonathan Goff, MLB
3(64) - Chad Henne, QB
3(72) - Tom Zibikowski, S
4(97) - Jacob Tamme, TE
6(161) - Back Up DE
7(193) - Back Up OL
7(224) - Back Up CB

This would go a long way towards shoring up our talent.

the phins wont allow the jets to get mcfadden or at least they wont trade to them to allow that.
 
Wont Happen! but if it did that would be great.
 
with the Rams picking 2nd and not needing a RB, they will be the target for teams who wnat McFadden

How about #1 pick to the Cowboys for:

1 Marion Barber
2 LB Bobby Carpenter
3 Both Cowboys 1st rd. picks
4 maybe their #2 pick as well, or at least #3
 
I heard a rumor somewhere that Miami was thinking of trading the #1 pick to the Giants for Manning, Boss, and their 1st round picks.

However with the G-men in the Super Bowl I doubt it would ever happen, althought even if they didn't get to the Super Bowl I doubt this would happen.

I'd take:
Both 1st round picks
Bobby Capenter
Marcus Spears
 
I would never ever deal with the Jets.....why would we want to face McFadden for the next ten years....if they want McFadden let them get him with the 3rd-5th pick.

I would rather deal with the Cowboys and trade our first overall to them for their two picks plus a solid starter (Marion Barber) and maybe a 2009 pick. :up:
 
The Carpenter/Spears thing is interesting, because a report in the Dallas Morning News today says they're available. I would DEFINITELY do #1 overall for Spears, Carpenter and Dallas' two first rounders.
 
I dont think that will ever happen. Also, isnt there a limit for ten draft picks? Very interesting and good info on the post Dolfan. If that rumor is true, I would trade our number one in a heart beat for Spears, Carpenter and their two first rounders as you said. JJ is in love with Run DMC so I would DEFINITELY make the trade.
