Matt Flynn - QB - Packers

Matt Flynn has had a better camp than Aaron Rodgers so far, according to Tom Silverstein of the Journal Sentinel.

Flynn is making a name for himself as one of the best backups in the league. Per Silverstein, he's "fearless in the pocket, on target with his throws and always calm and collected." If Rodgers were to go down, Flynn would quickly step in as QB1 in fantasy.

I guarantee this will be next years kevin kolb

Flynn has intrigued me since his performance against the Patriots last season...

Not surprising really, he'll get his chance somewhere and a team will invest a 2nd and give him a contract similar to Kolb even though unproven.

Once again; Flynn's NFL claim to fame is that he almost beat the Patriots, with the Super Bowl champs as his supporting cast. One week earlier, he put the Packers postseason hopes in jeopardy by losing to the Lions.

I'm not saying Flynn can't be good, but I want to see more before I join everyone who's going apesh!t over him.

I agree if Aaron Rodgers is getting outplayed by a backup then clearly he is not as great as we thought. All those great seasons he had are flukes. It is time to trade him to the phins. Im feeling a 7th round draft pick, and a practice squad caliber player and they got themselves a deal.

That is why people need to stop over-reacting to everything that happens in training camp.

If it was the Dolphins you'd have a bunch of knuckleheads screaming to bench Rodgers for Flynn.

No because Rodgers is proven and in the end the better quarterback. There's things about Matt Cassell that he does better than Brady, such as mobility, doesn't mean he's as good as Brady. He's nothing close to Brady.
