yea but in this case he would be coming to the same system he is leaving

But looking at it from a different light - Tom Brady was a 6th round pick and an unproven back-up at one time and look at what he has done.
 
Flynn is very intelligent, very accurate, and won a national championship. I see him in the same system as being a top tier QB because a good system can mask alot of flaws. He doesn'r have elite arm strength or height but won't need it.
 
Kolb went to a new team and a new offensive system. Which is why it failed

Flynn (if in Miami) will be playing in the same system with the same terminology

Cannot compare the 2 at all
 
My thoughts on this are this:

Philbins system in GB is already known to Flynn so less teaching needed there. Where Philbin will be teaching is his WR's/TE's to read the defense along with the QB so they hit the holes in the defense.

Reggie Bush is probly really really jacked right about now.

Flynn has 2 good games and he's being hyped as a starter. Reminds me so much of Kolb. A product of a good system thats all. If Philbin is indeed the "system" then we can do better than Flynn.

I say we stay on task and keep Matt Moore and move up to draft a QB this year.

Actually. I don't remember Kolb ever playing as good as Flynn did in his two starts?
 
Is the system too hard for Matt Moore to learn ? I know Flynn will probably beat Matt Moore out in training camp because he already knows the system but does that mean he is better or even a upgrade ? People say Flynn is mobile is he faster than Moore ? Does he have better arm strength than Moore? So just because he knows the system already and was a backup in GB he should be the Miami Dolphins starting Qb?

Matt Moore sucks. If you pay Flynn $50 mill he starts. There is no competition.

And oh yeah, Matt Moore sucks!
 
Favre, brunell, hasselbeck, rodgers, were all backups in GB, how did those guys turnout? GB has a history of developing QB's plus he will come over with his OC

How does that make any sense at all?

If Philbin is the system and Flynn can throw for 6 TD's and a bijillion yards then what upgrade do you need....a guy that can throw 10 tds and 2 bijillion yards?

Naturally anyone with any common sense brings in the guy that knows your system and excels at it. He certainly would be smart to draft another late round QB to develope over the next 3/4 years.

To me Flynn sucks just as much as Matt Moore does. My point is both are backups. One will just look better because of his experience in a system.
 
I'd be ok with us getting Flynn.....have as much competition as we can.
