moore may not be our franchise qb, but geez right now he is no worse than flynn, and prob better. the only reason several teams will be all over him offering him tons of money because the last game of the season he had a game which he will never even come close to having again, so all the dan snyders, etc of the world will overreact and pay him, which matt flynn will laugh all the way to the bank while that team who gets him will be stuck in mediocrity,

i really hope we dont sign flynn, and yes ill admit i like moore, but im not even saying hes our franchise qb, i am all for drafting a young qb rather than going with flynn.

Thing is at the end of the day Luck and RG3 scouting report will say potential franchise Qb. While Flynn's reads solid backup.

yes, thats what he is, a solid backup.

The truth is the anti moore people will read this and say i dont want flynn because i love moore, but thats not true. although i think moore is decent, and odds are against him turning into a franchise qb, the difference is we have him under contract for next season already on the cheap.

if we signed flynn, it does not matter that philbin is our coach, he is still going to demand big money and although maybe all 60 mill wouldnt be guarantee, im sure he will want at least 25-30 guaranteed, which honestly is pathetic to give to someone who had one outstanding game.

should companies make an intern the ceo of the company just because he has one outstanding day at the company, etc?

its not that i dont think flynn deserves a chance anywhere, its just that he does not come even close to deserving the money he is going to ask for based on 1 game, as no one does.

the best qbs in the nfl today made their big money after proving their play consistently, not after having 1 great game. it would be beyond ridiculous to give flynn what he wants due to 1 game.

Second, Flynn would be playing in the same system he played in which Kolb isn't. Big difference.

The only real similarities are that both were back ups in good systems and became Free Agents. Don't project Flynns ability based on Kolbs work.

2 starts in his career? are you kidding me? remember how good AJ Feeley looked coming off the bench for the Eagles? So good we gave up a 2nd round pick for him. Matt Moore's QB rating was best we've had since Marino retired. Why does everyone think Flynn would be an upgrade over Moore?
