Do you think this is a shot at philben, irealand, mike sherman or every body in our front office??? i kinda feel like its to philben

@SI_PeterKing
Peter King Talked to Flynn. Said a big factor in Sea over Mia was vibe in the building in Seattle: "The coaches, the staff--they were fantastic.''

Said he sat for a long time with OC Darrell Bevell, formerly of GB, and felt the Sea offense would be just like the one he learned in GB.

Clarifying: Of course the offense with Philbin in Mia would be the same--Flynn was happy to see such similarities w/GB in Seattle.

He should've said "Seattle offered me more money". That fluff about vibe and coaching is nauseating. Just tell it how it is, the money made it an easy decision.

Agree. Money as the deciding factor and nothing else. Did someone mention to Flynn that they road Carroll out of USC becasue he cheated that school out of 2 National Championships and put them on probation.

Bush knows so ask him. Yea, Carroll does not even come close to comparing to Coach Philbin. Philbin has a super bowl ring and ran a super bowl offense. Carroll used to be head coach of the JETS! Remember that Flynn!

I HIGHLY doubt that....it was the money he wasn't happy with....his comment was just a shot at Philbin.

lol..i just cant wait for matt flynn and peyton manning to fugg up, i know i sound like a hater but its ok to be a hater in football terms.....and i have a big feeling that they will mess up big this season watch

Flynn pulled off a heist, he's not worth that type of money at all.

but what if it really was the coaching thoe and not the money

He worked under Philbin for four years now after signing with Seattle it's the coaches. He had to say something and highly doubt he prefers Carroll over Philbin. The bottom line is he had no choice as he just was not our QB of the future.

I'd prefer Carroll over Philbin too if I were playing are you kidding?

Philbin has never been a head coach before. Carrol has had success in College and in the pros. He's funny as hell.

Philbin is talking about high character guys that's like a politician who keeps talking about religious issues instead of what really matters. It's not the best sign remember Cam-M0r0n.

Well Pete Carroll has been a run first kinda guy..So I wonder if he thinks that will help him..If he thinks he is coming out in 3 and 4 Wr sets he is mistaken.

If that were the case, then the trip to Miami was irrelevant because he already knew Philbin. He followed the money.

It's pretty obvious that Philbin didn't think Flynn was the answer at QB
