Matt Flynn to visit Dolphins

If we're going to have another backup vs. backup bonanza, I hope it's on the cheap.

Could be his agent creating this to get Seattle to up their offer.

Flynn was working out in the Florida panhandle area and he flies to Seattle and now has to fly to Miami. Talk about a long road trip. :chuckle: They just had a guy named Matt Hayes from the Sporting New's doing a mock draft on the NFL Network. He has us taking Ryan Tannehill with the 8th pick. Sherman might bring his boy in at QB.

Why are you all over him, i just dont see it................
My feeling on Flynn is that if Philbin is high on him and wants him as a starter you have to have some trust in that. I don't know if Flynn is the answer or going to be any better than Moore. Then again, maybe he is going to be solid starter.

If I am a Browns or Seahawks fan and they sign Flynn, I am more concerned then a Dolphins fan if they sign him. Those teams are going based on buzz, however Philbin has been his coach and seen him up close every day for the past four years. Granted he only has started two games(which he played pretty damn good), but Philbin has got to see him in mini camps, training camp and in the class room.

That is why I think Flynn is a good move if they sign him. While people see this as "AJ Feeley 2.0" or "Kevin Kolb 2.0", I see it more as "Matt Hasselbeck 2.0"

It's about time. I wanted Peyton as much as anyone at first, but he has handcuffed us for too long now. Im just pisses that we let Seattle get their visit in first. We should have booked his flight for 4:01 on Tuesday. Hopefully, we aren't the bridesmaid again...

Terrible news, don't want him, sign Donovan McNabb as a back-up. No thanks to Flynn, no win with Flynn...

The thing I like about Flynn is that he has some Moxie and does have a winning pedigree (winning in LSU). I think its important for a QB to have leadership skills, in fact, I think it might be THE most important thing (as long as he can throw better than Jay Fiedler). Flynn has that. He is worth a try.

I'll patiently wait for anybody to explain to me exactly what flynn has to offer that we don't already have in matt moore.

please spare me the flynn knows the offense junk, as matt moore will have an entire offseason to learn the freakin system... It's either peyton or a draft pick... we're either in win now, with peyton, or we are truly rebuilding in which case we draft a qb to rebuild with...

I think it's funny, cause if Philbin really wanted Flynn, he'd be a fin right now I just don't see him coming here.

First Philbin and now Flynn...the Dolphins keep falling ass backwards into the person I want them to get in the first place!!!

Like Philbin, I keep telling everyone with ears that the "fallback option" in Flynn will likely wind up a better option than Manning in the long run. If Manning doesn't win a Super Bowl in that 3 year window he has, it's considered a failure. Flynn has time to grow and flourish.
