Matt flynn vs RGIII

I would rather get Flynn and use our 1st on a pass rusher than spend 2 first and a second for RGIII.
 
Price for RGIII will be too steep imo. Take Flynn, use the picks to build the team.
 
Ditto...RGIII is a pimp but way too expensive. Flynn has certainly played like a pimp and comes a whole lot cheaper. Unless Manning is very, very healthy, I think that we should set our sights on Flynn. He may be a system QB but we have the system.
 
Be awesome to have RGIII but like others said he'll probably cost Miami two first round picks and more. Flynn also gets a plus with me also because he knows Philbin and his system.

I know he only has two career starts but wow are they impressive!
 
No offense to the OP, but that article is dumb. You cannot compare a pro QB to a college QB. you can compare them based on how they both performed in college, and based on that RGIII blows Flynn away.
 
That's cool. What I'd like to see is an article that compares RGIII to Flynn plus Couples plus Richardson plus Fleener. That would be a more accurate description on the true choice here.
 
My concern is RGIII's size. Marino commented that he was surprised how small he was.

In the authors next article, his mock draft, he has the Jets trading a bunch of picks to get Manning, thats just idiotic. Manning is going to go where he wants and he's not about to help out his now hated Colts by letting his new team give away a bunch of picks needlessly. Obviously nobody will trade anything for him unless they are guaranteed he'll play for them.

This is a cut or stay situation with Manning, so the author doesn't know what the hell they are talking about.

Not how small he was if I remember right, it was his height. Marino thought he was taller. Well same could be said for Drew Brees, or a Doug Flutie of the past. If he wins games I dont care if he's a midget back there.
