Jamarcus Russell. Now if that doesn't tell ya how much skill the guy has I dont know what will, but hey even Russell won 2 games lol  Sorry I'm not sold

Sophomore season

The departure of Randall left Russell and Flynn battling for the starting QB position. Russell eventually got the job, leaving Flynn as backup.[SUP][1][/SUP] He played in seven games at quarterback for the Tigers in 2005, completing 27 of 48 passes for 457 yards, 7 touchdowns and 1 interception. In a win over North Texas, Flynn threw a perfect 7-of-7 for 139 yards and 3 TDs, all in the fourth quarter. In the2005 SEC Championship Game against the Georgia Bulldogs, starting quarterback Russell was injured and Flynn finished the game. He was then given the nod to start for the Tigers in the 2005 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl against the University of Miami Hurricanes. In that game, he led the Tigers to a 40-3 rout of Miami.

Junior season

Again serving as backup to Russell, Flynn appeared in seven games. He completed 12 of 20 passes for 133 yards over the season, recording 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. Both TDs came in a 49-0 rout against Kentucky on October 14, 2006.[SUP][2]

and tom brady was a back up and split time too. who care we know he is crap

God i wish i could cuss you out for being an idiot but im trying to turn a new leaf......:thanks: Thank you for this post it is v-e-r-y good....

Tom Brady backed up Brian Griese and Drew Henson.

 Gotta love all these ''we know he sucks'' posts. No we DON'T know that! The only person who has an even remote idea of his skills up and close is our head coach. I'll trust him to make this decision. If he wants him here, maybe he knows something about Flynn that we don't....if not, well move on.

Which QB was it at LSU that won the national championship? Was it Russell or Flynn? And clearly the OP believes that players don't improve from college to their time in the NFL...players stay the same, never improving.

Yeah that turned out well....I was just joking around tho but just wanted to remind everyone that has so much confidence in the kid.

But Russell was the #1 overall pick for a reason. He just didnt have the work ethic to improve in the pros. As far as college, Russell put up GREAT numbers

I once backed up into my garage door when I forgot I left my car in reverse gear

I agree with ya though. I just have a feeling that this guy will get paid huge and for no reason.
