O.k..suppose we finished 5-11,6-10 and miss out on a top qb.would you all be against taking a swing a Matt Flynn and maybe get a qb in the 2nd round to groom if he doesn't pan out (which I think he will) just lookin at all scenarios with our luck we will be just good enough for the bad teams to be worse and take our future qb...I think with a vet qb and a new coach we will win these close games we are losing now and can possibly be a contender next year.also,draft a kicker...geez louise
 
Chad Henne was a second round quarterback to groom.

It's stupid to waste a draft pick on anyone at this point.

The only answer is getting a star quarterback, either in the draft or free agency (Drew Brees)
 
At that record, ante up some more chips in order to trade up to get Landry Jones or whomever of "The Big 3 + Cam Newton-type dark horse high potential prospect) might still be available.
 
There is no way in hell this team will win five games, so this discussion is kind of hard to follow. The Dolphins will be picking first or second.
 
no thanks. i dont see us winning many games anyway. we should end up with atleast jones or barkley
 
5-6 wins will put you in the top ten, maybe top 5. maybe not high enough to get Luck but good for one of the other top QBs
 
Landry Jones and Matt Barkley aren't bad consolation prizes but you have to be in the Top 10 to get them.
 
We're gonna pick top 5 no doubt. I am an official suck for luck supporter. After yesterday I'm done.
 
One other thing to note; If Matt Flynn becomes a hot commodity and goes to another team, there's a chance he'll sign a bigger contract than Andrew Luck. Kind of like Kolb and Cam Newton this year.
 
I know we are a bad team...but teams picking ahead of us are obviously worse and will pick a qb.hell we could pick 4 or 5 and be out of "luck"lol
