Matt Hazel will have absolutely nothing to do with whether or not we keep Wallace after this season.

Apparently, because it looks like Hazel will not be signed to the practice squad. They signed Streeter instead. Wallace's production and his huge contract will decide his fate.
 
Hazel had a decent camp and performed well in the preseason...but he is a sixth round pick, they may try to polish him up on the practice squad but he is likely no way close to Wallace, Hartline, Gibson, Matthews or Landry at this point... He is likely another Brian Manning, if u guys remember his preseason in 97...
 
I never understood the Hazel pick. I thought Janis would have been a better pick in the 6th. He has more size and speed. I see he stuck with the pack.

btw, drafted in the 7th and believe it or not, from time to time, 7th rounders don't make a team, where is the need to start a new thread about this anyways, there are multiple threads with roster cuts already, mods i wouldn't mind to have a certain amount of posts before you can start threads on this forum
 
Hazel was signed to the practice squad. I think it was a good move.
