Matt Jones or Dwayne Bowe?

Assuming we're in the market to acquire a WR and we had to choose one out of these two who do you take?

I would take Jones over Bowe due to size, speed, and the fact we wouldn't have to give any future considerations for him since he is a FA. I think Bowe is a fine choice too but if we have to give up something for him then I think Jones is a better choice.
 
I think it's Cribbs vs. Jones vs. Bowe. Quite frankly, we don't have any evidence Bowe is even in the picture as far as our FO is concerned.

There is plenty of smoke about Cribbs and Jones. And both of them can throw the ball.
 
Dez Bryant or Arruelius Benn. I Would love to have Bowe but doubt that happens and Matt Jones has issues. I like the idea of getting Josh Cribbs though. So to answer your question, neither
 
i would take jones if i was looking for a way to score an 8-ball by tonight.
 
why not give Jones a w/o, Parcells had Taylor for years, he was a cokehead... see what he has in the tank, if he's any good sign at a cheap k and then cut him if there are any signs of trouble or he just sucks.... would cost way less than the other options
 
hmm matt jones who hasn't had 1000 yards once in his 4 season career?
or Dwayne Bowe a guy who caught 1000 yards his rookie year, and also 1000 yards his 2nd year and now is just in his 3rd year. also fun fact about Bowe - he doesn't go to AA meetings every thursday

Yeah, but if you don't want to give up draft picks and a fat k for a guy that may be able to make some plays but really isn't all that spectacular maybe Jones is worth a look... FYI Jones would be going to NA meetings likely

bowe didnt get 1000 yards his rookie season but i agree i would much rather have Dwayne Bowe he is by far the better WR I dont mean this in a Racial or bad way but Blacks are just better athletes then whites or Mexicans

but if he is going at least he is trying to improve his life - a bad choice of words for this post.
 
I hope we sign Bowe. If we don't, it will be because KC wanted too much. And the final verdict at that point will be we should have pulled the trigger on Braylon. I know all about the Ronnie for Braylon trade, obv that wasn't going to happen. But we could have given similar draft picks + a compatible caliber WR. We have so much potential & IMO we need to get Henne another proven threat in Bowe. Make it happen Trifecta.
 
I'd much rather have Bowe but that's only if we can get a family discount from Pioli. Roth and a pick for Bowe and I'm sold.

As far as Matt Jones I don't see why not give him a try? Didn't we have an addict on our team a few years back. He got a second chance and now makes up 1/2 of the league's best RB tandem.

Cribbs is a guy I would think the Browns would want a 3rd or a 2nd for and I just don't think its worth it. Not when we have Ted Ginn available to return kicks.

Its going to be an interesting week. I really hope Miami makes a move.
 
i wouldnt mind jones. i know he has off field problems, but hes npot a locker room cancer, which is what parcells hates. he would be cheaper than bowe and a FA
 
Bowe is the better receiver but what do the chiefs want for him? thats what it all comes down to.
