He may be out in Jacksonville due to Troy Williamson coming in. He's a big WR that Parcell's likes and remember he has 4.3 40 speed! He hasn't done much in Jacksonville, but I think he will be a nice down field compliment to T. Ginn.

Considering Matt Jones has bent over the Miami secondary every time he had the chance to play, I think the team might consider adding him.

Why do we wanna keep adding #3 type WR'S though? I am just curious. Jones and Wilford really have not ben productive their whole careers. Our QB situation is not that good YET here in Miami.

To me there is nothing to gain from getting Jones. Nothing at all, unless we plan on having him compete for the QB spot.

The only advantage to him is size, and so far, on a team with a GREAT rushing game he has don't next to nothing in the NFL.

Ill take Matt Jones and let him, hagan, bess play for the 3rd spot. I'm high on bess, cant wait to see him preform AFTER THE CATCH.

I live in Jax, and I hear that Jones just simply can't get open a lot of the time, according to my friends who are Jags fans.

I am of the opinion that we should go Keyshawn before Matt Jones. Now, fire away at me!

Well considering we dont have a stable WR core yet we need to add some young - mid age wr's who have something to prove. And people like wilford just hasnt gotten that full fledged chance yet, there are players all around the league that have sat on the bench and never gotten that chance. Once they get that chance some turn out to be studs, some not so much. Maybe jones could be great, then again he can be the worst ever. Who knows but what i do know is that we can be picky cause what we got right now isnt elite by any stretch of the imagination.

No he wouldn't. Everybody gives him credit for the incredible catches he can make, but he can't convert a simple catch when he gets open (which he rarely does)

We have three NFL caliber receivers at this point, none proven to be great or even very good at this point so adding Jones would be a plus. Bess is the only other receiver we have that might actually be NFL level.

No, I get that. I am normally a fan of going after the young guys with something to prove.

IF we have a legit #1. But we barely have a legit #2 as of now. So for me, to keep going after guys who are #3's or 4's, just doesn't make sense to me. If we had 2 GREAT #2's then I would agree more with this move. But, once again, it's hard to say we even have a legit #2. Wilford is a 3. I hope he surprises me and winds up being a gem for us. Ginn has alot to prove and showed signs of being a ok #2. This isn't me bashing them, I hope they show alot this year. Just from what we have seen so far all we have is potential and that's it.

You are right, he could wind up being a stud. But for me, he just isn't gonna upgrade our WR position really. Maybe a #4 for us.

HERE IT IS
I'M GONNA FIRE AT YOU
i completely agree.
he is an under-achiever and i would rather deal with what we got

I disagree. Foster has the potential to be amazing. If he doesn't at least make the team I will be very disappointed.

Foster is 5 foot 7 170 lbs. Potential to be amazing at what? I just dont see many 5 foot 7 wr's lighting it up if any. Anything is possible but truly that is quite a longshot. I think he may make practice squad,

Foster's best chance to make the team is as a returner. If he can't make his mark in the return game, his odds of making the team are real slim.

As a return specialist ideally, but one of the knocks on Maurice Jones Drew was that he was too small as well. He reminds me a lot of Randle El. The kid can play so many different positions that he is a huge asset.
