And what hopeless homers some of your guys are. First off, I never said we were going to the playoffs, not now, not after last week and not ANYTIME in the offseason. Second, the people who thought we were going to the playoffs after last week undoubtedly still think so. And last, KNOWING THE FACTS about how good your team is doesn't make you less of a fan. I would have thought that the Wannstedt years had taught some of you hopeless homers that, but apparently not.
I love the Dolphins. I get depressed for DAYS when they lose and I get absolutely high when they win and don't come down for a week. But I KNOW, as someone who has followed them and the NFL for over 30 years now that the Fins don't have the talent to get to the playoffs this season. Maybe next season, but not yet. There's too much work to be done personell-wise still.

i followed the official game thread through out the game ( I couldnt watch it on TV). It was amazing to see how quickly opinions on this team are swayed. Examples?

The punter makes a bad punt. I think it was 36 yards, People start crying for Turk.
The punter then gets the ball to the two yard line on his next try. He is asome all of the sudden.

People are calling RB a bust for having a sloppy start.
Then he is great when he breaks a good run for a crucial 1st down.

The D is the best in the league, when they hold the Jets back again and again.
THen they are the same old losers in the 4th when they wear out and cant hold them on a drive.

Chris Chambers is proven to be overrated when he drops a few passes (this does bother me BTW) and then he is wonderfull when he keeps the final drive alive in the 4th.

We lost a close game to a damn good Jets team IN NEW YORK.

It was a competitive game, we were down 13-10 in the 4th quarter.

13-10? Did I miss something? Miami ran, what 45 plays before scoring in the 4th & the jest came right back & scored a td going up 17-7 It was never close.

The Jest (there is that play on words thing again) are NOT a good team. Neither is Miami!

some of you folks are the most pathetic excuses for fans i ever saw. jesus christ! we walked into the MEADOWLANDS and gave them a really good game. we lost the game for ourselves. i think we did a good job. did anyone not see the writing on the wall? last week: we win big. jets lose big. fastforward to this week: meadowlands. when have we had good experiences there? its like those sons of b!atches have angels in the endzone when they play us. 4 fumbles we didnt get one. all of them shot right back to the jets. please dont come to these here sacred cyber grounds and spew your venom.
