No, I haven't been drinking again... Or shooting coke.

I have no idea who made this video, but I just stumbled upon it on youtube and it's pretty bad ass.

Losing Tannehill is a real kick to the sack but it's December and we're 8-5. How many of us saw this coming?.. Not me.

Go rip it up and get us in the ****in playoffs, Matt. You got this.

Give it a day or two, brother.

I hope he really attacks this opportunity to put a nice finish on his career....and let's it rip...gets in a zone...all we need is a handful of games.

We're not going to win the Superbowl...
But if we could sneak into the playoffs...and pull off a wildcard win...that would be amazing.

I have faith in Matt Moore. He made a dreadful season in 2011 courtesy of Chad Henne and Tony Sporano redeemable and fun. Sure he cost us Andrew Luck, but now he can redeem
himself when we need him most.

Matt Moore is leading this team to the playoffs! Have some faith.

I'm on the bandwagon, baby.

Matt Moore is going to lead us to the playoffs.

There are a couple of reasons why I think that Matt Moore is a much better than average backup quarterback and they are these:

1. He rises to pressure. I think everyone who watches a lot of football is familiar with the idea of the backup quarterback who simply shrinks like a vampire in the sunlight when his number gets called and he's thrown into the game. Basically, the John Becks of the world. Guys who can't seem to do anything right -- can't even handle the snap or get the team organized at the line of scrimmage -- and/or just shut down mentally after the ball is snapped. There are even a few starters in the NFL who play this way; Brock Osweiler comes immediately to mind. These guys may look great in practice, but when the lights come on, they're useless.

Matt Moore is not one of those players. He supposedly looks dreadful in practice and has never looked good in the preseason, but when the lights come on he gets better. He rises to the occasion.

2. Matt Moore is aggressive with the football. This is something that's really underrated here, because if you look around at your typical backup bum (or Brock Osweiler), he's just going to stare down the rush, take his checkdown, and never present a credible threat to beat the other team with his arm. Teams see backup quarterbacks and they bring up their safeties and play the run and the checkdown. And that is precisely why I feel that backups like Moore and Josh McCown are much better than the average NFL backup. Because instead of forcing their team to slowly get asphyxiated and lose the football game due to offensive impotence (while desperately praying for a pick six or special teams miracle), guys like that are feast or famine. Sometimes you get two touchdown bombs, and sometimes you get four interceptions.

But that's why they are backups, and you'd rather have the chance of the two touchdown passes -- and a chance to WIN -- than just watching your team get slowly crushed by nine men in the box.

He's not a great quarterback, but people who have complained about his salary do not understand how fortunate we are right now. Because we were willing to carry that (relatively paltry) salary on the books this season, we now have a legitimate chance to win 2 of these next 3 games and see our boys survive into the post-season tournament. He will go out there and maybe he will throw three picks... but maybe he will throw three touchdowns. And if our running game clicks, and the pass protection holds up, I think there's a better chance of those three touchdowns with Kenny Stills and DeVante Parker out there going deep.

I don't know, maybe I'm on coke.

I don't remember if it was the game or one of the TV guys yesterday that said Gase and Moore might not be such a bad thing. That Gase is a very aggressive coach and the Moore is an aggressive QB. I understand he will change the playbook some, but we might see more aggressive plays from Moore and we did from Tannehill. I am not trying to fuel a Tannehill vs Moore debate, just going off what was said.

What I really like about Matt Moore is, he ain't going down without a fight. Now maybe that means the knife is in 2 inches deep he is able to get it out or it goes in another 2 inches . . . but it damn sure ain't gonna stay 2 inches deep.

And make no mistake about it, Gase is going to try to get Jay going early to ease that pressure on Matt so he can manage the game. But #8 is a gun slinger and Gase WANTS so bad to let it rip. Ryan plays the position in a way that allows Adam Gase to be sane . . . he will want to approach the games the same way with Moore but there is some "**** it" in both the Gase and Matt Moore and if the chips are down, both HC and QB are going all in.

Playoffs were never a given with these last 3 games. 2 December Division road games is tough in any year, I don't care how the other teams are doing. Plus finishing at Home against the best team in the AFC. One game at a time, lets see if we can give this a go. 10 wins should get us in.

Just purely hypothetical here, what happens if Moore comes in and the offense explodes? What happens if we start scoring way more than we have? What do you do if you're the coaches next season? What would happen to this forum?

Please....I hope Matt Moore can get hot and end our playoff drought...I really do.

But Matt Moore as a potential long term starter...franchise QB?....That shipped sailed a long time ago.
