Getty ImagesThe Dolphins spent a good portion of the offseason trying to replace Matt Moore.
When that failed, they signed to a quarterback who didn’t play a snap in the 2011 regular season and created an open competition. Given the fact that Moore didn’t play all that badly in 2011, it seems like that might rub him the wrong way. In a phone interview with Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post, Moore said that wasn’t the case.
“I didn’t feel disrespected at all,” Moore said. “I spoke with Jeff Ireland a month ago, and he basically told me that they’re obviously in the market for a quarterback and it doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. Who’s not going to go after Peyton Manning?”

Of course he has no complaints ... he's not in a position to do so.

The man is drawing a paycheck.

If Seattle is going to make Matt Flynn beat out Tavaris Jackson...then I dont see how the Dolphins would have not have made Matt Flynn do the same here..That being said why would Matt Moore be upset about that? Tim Tebow helped take his team to the playoffs and they just dumped him like day old bread..Matt Moore really has no grounds to be upset..

Compare that mature, professional, and realistic attitude to someone like Sanchez who's probably sitting in his Chevy with the motor running in his folk's enclosed garage. Like I've been saying all along, if the competition's not named Manning, Moore has earned an opportunity to compete in TC for the starting job and then let the chips fall where they may - whether it's against a rookie, a 7th round backup with a 2 game resume, a one out of seven year wonder or a formerly slightly above average QB who's now long in the teeth and coming off a serious injury.

It's the proper thing to do and IMO, all that he realistically desires

THere is a public side to Moore's feelings and there is a private side.. I'd like to know what he thinks privately...

lol he still has a job why would he have complaints
