Matt Moore in 2010-Before you all become blinded by Henne Hate

Ummm...I think Thigpen is something like 1-13 as a starter in the NFL. Dat ain't good!

yah, even Orton over the last 2 seasons did better than that (10-17)

incidentally, here's a capsule view of Moore's 2009 season:

To those insisting on stats being their guide:

- In 27 games Henne has 27 TDs of which 6 were 20+ yards.

- In 16 games Moore has 16 TDs of which 8 were 20 + yards.

- Henne's career YPA is 6.0 to include his best of 6.7 in 2009

- Moore's career YPA is 6.7 to include 7.6 in 2009

Aside from all his mechanical issues, Henne shows an inability to make big plays while Moore clearly makes them.

I did not know making big plays was the sole job of the QB. It is also to move the ball down the field. Please also remember WRs on this team were killed if they ran more than 10 yd routes last year.

If you guys want to give Moore a shot in practice so be it. Just think as every year it is someone different but I guess that is all fan bases. All I have heard is excuses for Moore's play last year and a small sample size from the year before. Sounds a lot like "Henne Fluffers" everyone on here likes to point out. Somehow the last 2 years, we were in almost everygame despite Henne at most times. I just want to give the final shot before plugging in another stopgap and then IF he has minimal success, well have an excuse to pass on a QB next year because we found our "guy".

Yet EVERYONE on this site wanted him because he makes "Big Plays" and has GOT TO BE better than Henne (See Pattern). If you think Thigpen is better than Henne after last year....you have serious football evaluation problems.

Nowhere did I say sole. Apparently you don't understand the importance of those 2 categories
