Matt Moore ranked #31 QB

While Im not gonna say Moore is the answer to our prayers, to have him ranked 31st after the numbers he put up last year with a RT as the other teams most valuable player every game is nothing more then "knee jerk media" at its finest. Put down the torches and pitch forks already.
I agree.

His passer rating last year would disagree with this ranking.

I don't think he is 31, pretty sure he was rated around the middle of the pack last year

He's average at best. Anyone with two eyes could see this regardless as to where any so called expert ranks him. At his very best he was just another average player on an average team.

Old Cuban saying:

Paper will accept anything that you write on it.

Flynn is not significantly better than Moore and I would take Moore over sanchez, tebow, gabbert,

Some moron with a keyboard writes his opinion and we are supposed to forget the facts and believe the moron?? Lets stick to the facts.
FACT: Moore had the 12th highest QB rating in the NFL last season.
FACT: Moore had one of the worst starting group of WRs in the NFL last year, with the only real "go to" WR being Marshall who also happened to lead the league in drops.
FACT: Moore only got to compete in 11 games not 16.
FACT: Moore was playing for one of the worse offensive systems in the league last year. So much so that they fired the OC and HC after the season.
FACT: Moore started for a team that was 0-5 when he got to start and finished the season off 6-3 playing some really solid football. The team came together under him and looked as close to being a NFL caliber football team as they have in quite awhile.

Now while I will also admit that Moore probably doesn't have the ceiling as a NFL QB as maybe Rodgers or Brady he has shown to me to at the very least that he has heart, will to win, and the talent to be a solid NFL QB under the right coaching. What I am NOT saying is that he is the answer and we should give up looking. But he is a dolphin at heart with the will and character to win. And as long as he is a dolphin I will pull for him to be the best he can be.

And would have been lower if he had to throw the number of passes an average QB in the league throws in a single game. It's easy enough when you can coast to a win against the Little Sisters of the Poor (Redskins, Bills, Raiders, Chiefs).

This one goes with the above as well. How many times did Brandon Marshall bail Matt Moore out last season? Moore is really going to miss Marshall, who will definitely start all 16 games next season (I see the accuser as having suspect motives for accusing Marshall, including the possibility that she threw the first punch).

FACT: Moore only got to compete in 11 games not 16.

That's one less than Big Ben started in 2010. BFD.

Takes two to play. Remember how we all thought Henne would get better under Daboll, just because Daboll wasn't Henning?

Try FICTION. The team was 0-3 when he was pressed into service and then proceeded to lose another 4 games in embarrassing fashion. None of the wins came against a team with an above-.500 record, and all of the wins came against bad teams or teams in the process of faltering. Moreover, in clutch time, Moore has a penchant to lose his composure. Or do we remember the Dallas and New England games?

That makes no sense on any level. QBs need to get into rythum and the more they throw in a game the more they maintain that rythum. His numbers would have been higher if he would have thrown more not lower. You may think it is easy winning against bad teams but not when your supporting cast is worse than the teams you are playing. If he had the talent around him that Rodgers or Brady had, he would have played the good teams better than he played the bad teams last year with the lack of talent he had to work with.

BFD, so what one player doesn't get better under a new OC, that some how proves coaching, and system change can't help a player?? I know you don't want to go down that road!!

31 is too kind. There are a few back-ups I would take over Moore

All the complaints you could level at Moore you can level at Tannehill. "Folds in 2nd half of games..etc"
You could say that Moore is still developing, and is much farther along than any college player is at this point. Moore has made more plays in NFL games than any prospect, shown the ability to make any and every throw and do it against NFL competition. You could say his mistakes have come from inexperience and that he can and will grow from these.
The negative way to look at it is that you feel he's reached the ceiling of his ability and makes his mistakes because he's just a natural loser. There is evidence that could support that but the evidence could also support the positive interpretation as well. This guy's already on your team, already under contract for a great price, and is ready to have his best year yet. Even if he falters, you can always pick from his replacement in next year's draft from a crop of candidates that is likely to trump this year's field. Plus, worse-case scenario, you could draft a guy like Kirk Cousins (who reminds me of Drew Brees) in the 3rd round and maybe he can start for you next year if Moore falters. Not only that, but if Garrard is healthy, he can really push Moore pretty hard so that whoever comes out of that competition will be a pretty damn competent NFL QB.

it`s just BULL.... moore performed better than half of the NFL QB`s.
