Because he was given no first-team reps, and because a coaching staff that is on its way out at worst at the end of the year was determined to go down with the guy they hand picked (even though he sucks) than take a chance on anyone else?

So there are coaching staffs in the league that will actually bench ineffective starting QB's. Interesting.

we had a chance to bring in competition but we brought in another bottom barrel guy that the worst team in football wanted no part of
Matt Moore is a buy low candidate. He has obvious potential (anyone watching the preseason could see that) and while he sucked on the worst team in football, you want to see what he looks like when he is not surrounded by a league worst team.
We may be league worst right now, but seeing as this was a division winner in 2008, Henne has played as big of a part as any in taking it there.

What is the consensus? I don't see people confessing their love for the guy. I think they both suck. Moore just looks a little more passionate and comfortable in the pocket. Something we've never seen from Henne. Not saying either should be a starter anywhere if you are referring to my previous Matt Moore post.

I dont know Cam newton is looking pretty good there
Bottom line- rooting for a QB besides Henne to lead this team is less about that QB and more about the fact that we know Henne sucks.
If he's worse than Chad Henne and Tony Sparano is truly an idiot, let's hope Matt Moore starts against the Jets in a couple of weeks.
