Matt Moore Trade?

Why not just send two division opponents, 4 games or a quarter of the season our entire playbook and a decent back up at the same time. OMG! Please stop with the foolishness.

Oakland for Jacoby Ford would work for me. After all this is like Madden right. LOL.
Or Denarius Moore. LMAO

When I look at New York and Buffalo's QB situations (sadly they are in the divison with us), I just see how much better Moore would look for them. They've been thinking of John Beck! Come on! Just curious as to what this board thinks he would be worth to them?

Not enough. There is no way in hell you send your number 2 QB to a division opponent. It would have to be for a minimum of a number 1 and possibly 2 numbers ones. He is not worth that to them. But what would it mean to us to give them our playbook just before the season starts?

What do you think we could get from the Jets or the Bills for him right now?

You never trade a decent QB to any divisional, unless they offer up a first rounder in exchange, and that ain't gonna happen. I think Leinart and John Beck will be given workouts with the Bills/Jets. Colt McCoy may also be an option for them.

If Buffalo or New York wanted Matt Moore, I would demand at least a 2nd round pick since it is in division. Though I don't see the Bills or Jets going for that. Plus, Matt Moore is more valuable to the Dolphins than any realistic compensation we would get offered.

Maybe they will listen to you because they definitely aren't hearing it from me. :brewskis:

While every team needs a good backup, if we got a legitimate offer for Moore id pull the trigger. Even if it were in the division. Perhaps especially if it was in the division.

Matt Moore isnt a franchise quarterback. Hes capable, he can play well in a pinch, he can win you some games, but hes on the level of Shaun Hill, Kyle Orton, and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Good enough to create competition, bad enough that they cant carry your franchise. If the Jets and Bills want to sink a mid-round pick and hold up their team for another year on a guy who isnt a franchise quarterback, i'll applaud them for their efforts.

No doubt we'd miss his loss. If Tannehill gets injured we'd be totally screwed without Moore. But id value the extra draft pick a lot more then a player who hopefully would never take the field. We can find another competent backup somewhere much easier then we can gain those extra draft picks. When you have a franchise quarterback, you can trade away excessive pieces for extra resources.

The trade value of Moore may come into the season IF a playoff team has an injury. The Jets and Jills are not options, while trying to rebuild.

think the bills are set they really like Tuel an undrafted qb .

Why would we trade Moore, when we would get hit with $4 million in dead money resulting in a $1.5 million cap hit? There's a good chance that we will release or trade him next year as I doubt that we will pay him $5.5 million to hold a clipboard.

I don't care what they offered us, because

A. It's in the division
B. Injuries could still happen, which leads in to...
C. Moore >>>>>> Devlin
D. He knows our offense inside and out
