Matt Moore's Last Three Games

do you falsely rave about ppl you put on your ignore list, as much as you falsely claim you won't be returning to threads?

Moore has played well until crunch time arrives or he needs to make a play to drive his team.

Examples
Dallas game with a chance at a td throws the ball 30 rows into the stands
Dallas game looses snap causing turnover for TD
NE game Fumbles snap
NE game with multiple chances to keep us ahead he just couldn't make plays

Bottom line on Moore is he is a solid QB until he is forced into must have scoring situations I would prefer a QB who thrives in those opportunities not flounders them away..

Please, post your resume' so we can see where your evaluation of the QB position has gotten you in life, since apparently it's gotten you far enough to know when you can arrogantly deride someone else's work in that regard.

Actually, send it to me in a PM so I know when I can remove you from my "ignore" list.

Has this forum become like an echochamber to you? With so many users being on your "ignore" list, it'd almost have to be.

"QBR, BR, BR BR." "ignore....ignore....ignore....ignore list!" "CTAAA CTAAAA on on on on on my avatar ar ar ar".

i say we keep him to start next season for sure, draft a qb in the first at least you know if starting a rookie qb doesn't work you have moore to fall back on

Funny, as an admin staff I figured you'd promote the "ignore" list, since it can be a primary way for people to avoid the types of conflicts that violate the TOS.

Then again, I have to wonder how important the TOS really are to you, since the post I quoted here could be characterized as a mild personal attack.

I mean you certainly aren't attacking my idea, are you? It's me you're focusing on, isn't it?

Luckily I'm not sensitive enough to be offended by it. Some people may not be as thick-skinned, however, which is why I figured the TOS exist, as guiding principles of conduct to be respected and followed no matter whom you may be interacting with.

Here's the link:

Why exactly do you have such a hard-on about me being an Admin? I realize that you probably find it unfair that I'm one and someone with your infinite knowledge of manipulating statistics isn't, but you don't have to be so sensitive to my question.

There's nothing "attacking" towards it. I simply asked if FH has become somewhat of an echo chamber to you since you've apparently ignored about 9/10ths of the userbase. But, instead of a "Yeah it does", or "No, it's not", I get another condescending reply. I was actually focused on your gargantuan ignore list, not you.

Lighten up broheim.

Only the condescending ones.
Well now that I have you firmly under my control, you should probably remove the quote in post #216, since it's "condescending." :)

Oh, and if you plan on becoming the "condescension police" and removing all such posts -- and not just the ones from me to you -- you have a lot of work to do around here.

You could probably start with post #206 in this thread, which got the ball rolling here.

Nighty-night. ;)

someone elses work...the only thing i've seen from you is you quoting qbr #'s by game by opponent by quarter etc...thats not your work...its the basis of your whole argument...i did see you put out a gem about how that 1 yard td pass in the tight red zone to a wide open crossing clay was a difficult throw or something that should be praised when thats about as routine as it gets if you get to him in your progression on the play...but in the event you did put out some play by play analysis of moores qb play with any kind of real depth to it which personally i think you lack the ability to do i'm sure i'd shoot holes all in it...

so yeah...you should put me on the ignore list...i see through your schtick...

We could have a "Shouright's Statistical Shenanigans" section to the board where you would be a prisoner of that forum, and people could pay to come look at your ramblings, like an internet zoo or something.

That'd be the biggest moneymaker since Enron.

Hey, I'm thrilled with Matt Moore's performance . . . he has done better then I think most of us would have thought give the situation. He throws with touch, he can fire it in there, he has some mobility . . . it was an absolute GREAT find by Ireland in a QB market that was pretty pathetic.

That being said, you would be absolutely foolish to take his Jay Fiedler like stature and depend on him going forward. To me, the only thing Matt Moore brings to the table is that he minimizes the chance of us trading another 2nd round pick for another teams backup or 3rd stringer. I wouldn't take Matt Flynn, Jimmy Clausen and whoever else over Moore, I just wouldn't, and the Dolphins don't need that type of hanging fruit. However, Miami needs to draft a QB or if even possible get an already established elite QB i.e. Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, etc.

Even if Matt Moore were to become "elite", A. You have no idea of knowing that and B. Does it really hurt to have 2 solid QB's on the roster? The fact that Matt Moore is serviceable means we don't even have 1 elite QB as of now . . . so please, draft a QB and stop trying to win around medicore talent at the position. Do what it takes within means . . . as bad as 3 first rounders sound for Andrew Luck . . . I'd do it in a heartbeat. I like the QB combo of Moore and Luck . . . would make us strong at the position for the first time in over a decade.
