Amen - I am glad he has energy and brings some attitude - BUT when is he going to turn that into production? Of all the picks in this draft I think Roth was my most least favorite. I just don't see him being as talented as he was projected. I hope he proves me wrong but so far I am not at all impressed.

The question on Roth has NEVER been dedication. He's known as a lunch pail guy who goes hard on every snap.

The question is his size. He has short arms and can't get by bigger offensive linemen. He's quick, and tenacious, but that won't always translate into production at the NFL level. Luckily, there's weight training. It won't lengthen his arms, but it will give him more power at the point of attack. Give him time. Thankfully, he's quick and tenacious but not big. I'd rather have that than a slow, lazy jacked guy (no Wright comments please... he's not SLOW he's just out of shape... he's very quick for a guy his size).

The fight was actually quite rediuclous and boring....
THAT IS OF COURSE until Jason Taylor showed Roth how it's done and grabed the back of the center and whipped him probably 5 or 6 yards across the field..i keep replaying it over and over again.

its all about learning the system. He needs a few more moves in the NFL to get to the QB. I expect Roth to bear fruit mid season at the earliest imo.

I read that article too. That's what is now expected, which would be fine for a second rounder.

I hope he does. I hope his temper gains a lot of penalty flags that could cause the fins games, if he even plays.

I hope he pulls a boneheaded Bills fan out of the crowd like, I don't know, maybe you? And then gets a flag for "roughing the sweat hog".
